Neat pets. Never heard of a grackle, I've raised a starling before though and a couple doves which was neat.
Oh wow, you have a cat named Sora too xD My Sora is all white, though he does seem to like and hate a lot of the same things yours does. xD

Great tailed grackles are extremely common around here. I find several chicks from May-September each year, and I try to help them out a little if I can. The males are much larger and prettier, because they have yellow eyes and a blue sheen, but the females, like Di was, are smaller with brown feathers. Here's the wiki page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great-tailed_Grackle I'm not sure how far north grackles are, but I even saw them when I went on a trip to Cancun, Mexico, which sort of shocked me because I thought I'd see more exotic birds.
And I named my cat Sora because he's a goof ball, like the video game character. razz He also sort of has boots, gloves, and a vest going on with his fur pattern.

Oh wow, that's awesome. We don't get many orphaned birds here, but we have some pretty cool wildlife.
Ah, lol. Mine's a goof ball too, but he was named Sora because it's Japanese for Sky. His eyes are BRIGHT blue, almost the color of a cloud actually. It's pretty cool.
I kinda noticed the vest on your Sora, it's so cute! biggrin
