Krystelle jumped slightly when Errdegahar jumped to attention. She chuckled at that sight and then at him swearing in drow. "I'm glad I can't understand what you just said." She said standing up and stretching, "Feel refreshed sleepy head?" She walked over to him and tilted her head. "We better hurry if we want to see the sun rise at the lake."

"You are right, Krystelle. We do need to hurry." Errdegahar sheathed his sword and waited on her to indicate the direction.
"I regret that I failed you Krystelle. I was apparently more tired than I had believed. I will take my punishment whenever you wish to give it to me."

Krystelle nodded and pointed in the direction of the lake. She then began walking that way. Hearing his next words made her pause and look back at him. Was he really going on about that stuff again. She heaved a sigh and shook her head. "You didn't fail me. I told you to get some rest too." She replied before moving on again, "Besides I have no right to punish you. You are a full grown stallion and are capable of making your own decisions. If you feel the need to beat yourself up over a silly thing like falling asleep then go right on ahead. I will have nothing to do with it." The last bit was said with some heat showing how much this irritated her.

Errdegahar nodded, processing what she had said. While she had said that she wasn't upset with him, her tone didn't sound as if she really wasn't. He debated on walking several steps back from her to give her space since he felt he was getting mixed messages, but decided against it. She had said she wasn't going to punish him, however, her tone and words caused a heaviness to heap in his heart that could have been a punishment.
He mulled it over internally for a few more minutes before finally speaking, "You do not wish to punish me, and you are not upset that I slept, though your words and tone indicate that you are upset..." Errdegahar fidgeted with this leather armguards, "I do not understand this mixing of signals..."

Krystelle continued heading towards the lake trying to hurry. It wouldn't be long before the sun would rise and she wanted to make sure they were at the lake in time. Hearing him speak made her sigh. She looked over at him and gave him a slightly heated look that cooled instantly. "I'm not upset over you sleeping. I'm upset over you thinking that you need to be punished for it. And I'm upset at myself for thinking that one day would be all you need to change a lifetime of thinking." She explained after a moment, "I know it'll take longer than a few days for you to change your thinking and way of doing things, if you ever do. I'm sorry I don't have more patience with you on such things."
She then faced forward and walked in silence. Five minutes later the lake could be seen clearly. They were almost there.
