I mostly feel comfortable with writing poems, but of course I write a lot in roleplays. Anyway, I'm a poet. I write poems all of the time. Some are random, some have a message (kind of) and then there's one that I entered in a contest at school. Well, actually one of the poems was for an actual contest, it just counts as a school grade (which is really dumb). So, enjoy. (Most are really sad and depressing, so be aware of that.

Looking out the window pane
She saw only what she could see
Only what she could sense
The day her heart would be broken
She always knew

The rain gently hit the glass
As the little droplets began to form
Looked like tears
A dark mass
Filled the sky

Her heart will be broken today
There is no other way
She knew all along this would happen
For it was her life

If only I had a way to survive in this world
Without being ignored
And instead being heard
But the rain has poured
And will never stop

I sit here alone
Trying to hide my sorrow
While inside I moan
Wishing someone will notice me
But whenever I try to talk
The words won’t come out

If only I could gaze at the stars
While lying next to the one I love
But I’m trapped behind these bars
Screaming louder and louder
But no one can hear me
So I sit here in silence waiting for someone to come and save me
If only I had a way to survive in this world
