((You know, that was not something I would have thought of. Bravo Aurilien!)
Wave of Illusion, Shin mused. It would have worked on someone else, but not him. The gravity was much worse than that. He'd already been affected by his own bankai, that could do something a bit similar. The black hole, though, that was not something he had expected. It had completely sucked up his tuning fork. The bankai would be weakened for a moment, but only for a moment. The rest of the tuning barrier was still in effect, thankfully, if only for that one hole in it.
"I never would have thought you'd be the one pressured for time. Or are you afraid that we'll be found? If that's the case, the advantage is clearly mine." He gave a smile, and then shot a Sonic Blast toward Auri with one sword. He had shown mostly of what he could do with the tuning forks the last time he had used Bankai. Not what he could do with the blades themselves. He started smacking them together again. He was going to do to Auri, what he had tried to do to him. Jumble his brains. He just needed enough to fully resonate a tuning fork. He wouldn't need to move much for that, and with the added weight... no doubt he'd have enough resonance in no time.

(thanks... this is turning into a nice battle)
Hmm...it seemed he was not quite so proficient with the warping of space ability. Nonetheless he had not demonstrated all abilities and would have ample time to do so. His blackhole had worked and he had one less concern.
"Captain, you always thought me to use the weakness of others as your strength. All seem to want to revel in the appearance of Bankai as if they are too in awe to perform anything. Even the user of the Bankai seeks to display it with pride, themselves falling victim to being a mere observer for a moment. I simply took such time to weakon the one I'm battling. Sound strategy would you not say?"
His conversation was cut short by the motion of Shin's blades as what was likely a wave of sound was launched towards him. His barrier of sorts could deflect a portion of it, but why bother getting hit at all? He simply shunpoed out of the way with the enhanced speed of his own gravitational ring constraints.
"Your speed as been slowed but mine not so much. These rings rotating around me are their own atmosphere one could say with their own pressure. It as if I'm in a completely different region from the one that we are currently present in."
He wondered if he should reveal the one true offensive ability of his Bankai, but quickly dismissed the thought. There was no need to reveal all his secrets. Instead he used the Wave of Illusion but on the area around himself as he began to move. Although it was not quite so easy to view he had adapted quite well from previous trials with his Bankai. The main purpose was to cause the one he was combatting to view him completely warped, making it difficult to follow his movements. He proceeded to move within range of Shin.
The barrier he had worked defensively but could also work offensively. If he got close enough to Shin the rings circulating around him at such high velocity would shatter his frame. He used his faster speed in this realm to quickly close on his Captain as would be within range in a split second.

((I agree. =D)) "I'm glad you took my lessons to heart." Shin said, using his now less effective Shunpo to stay just outside of his rotating rings. He had stopped the banging of his blades, now at full resonance between the two of them. Now he just had to prep.
"I also taught you something else, didn't I?" He asked, shunpoing just close enough to gain the benefits of the decrease in gravity from the rings Auri himself was using. He shunpo'd just at the edge, keeping with the direction of the rings. Thankfully, if Auri had tried to take advantage of this proximity, Shin could just get out of the way. Sure, right back into higher gravity, but it would be enough. "Use the strengths of others. Friend or foe. Hado 88. Hiryugekizokushintenraiho." They both knew this was the last time this attempt would be taken. And it was really more of a stall tactic. A powerful one, but still.

It seemed the Captain found one benefit to the situation. He had used the own gravity realm created by the circulating rings to his benefit. He was able to move slightly faster but still could not use Shunpo to its full abilities. Being inside the rings versus outside still had quite a difference. Upon reflection he was also glad that the Captain was trying so hard to move. The more he extended himself under the pressured world the faster he would tire. As the Captain now stood within a few paces of him he prepared himself to react quickly.
He was surprised by what came but it did not cause him to be as troubled as he thought he'd be. He figured Shin would have launched his sound resonance at him but instead formed the motion of a Hado. From his deduction it would seem as thought he required more time to properly release his ability. This fact would come in handy for the future but for now he just needed to avoid the Hado that would soon escape Shin's body. Typically one would avoid by going outside of the constraints of the blast. The fast way from point A to B was still a line and therefore instead of avoiding the blast he made it so the blast would avoid him. Wave of Illusion. As the blast headed towards him he had warped a space point so as the blast entered within this warped space if was shifted to the left, eventually just barely avoiding him as it exited the small space he had changed.
He felt the rushing friction caused by the blast as it passed by him. Nothing to concern about anymore as this threat had been negated. He would be quicker than the Captain under these circumstances, so allowing him anytime to breathe would be a potential mistake. He proceeded forward using Shunpo combined with the rings pull as he rapidly closed distance once again to within a pace or two. It would be an idea opportunity to reveal his Bankai's real attack, but then again he did not even wish for his Captain to know if it. He would simply use his own barrier to break the body of his Captain. Just in case this was not possible he had something else in mind.

As expected, Auri had come after him. He shunpoed out of the way and immediately let loose what he had planned. The resonance of his blades faded away and the tuning fork closest the them took up what the blades had dispersed. Yogoreru oto, or the Blurring Sound, was in effect. He carefully backed up, to keep what strength he had.
He began smacking his blades together again, "You should have known." Shin said quietly. He was thankful for the added weight, as it helped him out as well. He'd have a full resonance between his blades again quickly.

He felt the tremors of the sound come forth and it seemed as if the connection between his mind and eyes went blank. Not only that his hearing was lost, which also could present an issue. The one key connection that remained was his thoughts. As long as he could still think he could act. He knew physical attacks for the most part would remain a non threat. In this state he could not direct a clear attack or no the location of his opponent until the effect subsided. He also knew that they were in a confined area. This would be his tool for now.
"Wave of Illusion" Unlike the previous uses of this he continued the movement of the large ring. He did not wish to just pick a spot to distort but to distort the entire region. It required a lot of reaitsu, but he had plenty, not to mention that which he had locked up in case of emergency. The ring swivelled back and forth and over the next few seconds. He could not see or feel the changes but they were certainly occuring. On the other realm of his ring barrier the world was quite literally stretching and shrinking itself sporadically. If he could not see he would make Shin see a world of pure distortion where nothing in space seemed to make sense.
Having done this he began to move at random keeping higher above as he could not fall prey to his own blackhole creation he had placed on the ground. He moved in random manner and he was certain the pure distortion of the scenerey with literally confuse one of the components of the environment. Was he really occupying the space that one viewed or was that merely the confusion of the mind? He was certain Shin would be asking himself this shortly.
77. Tenteikūra He was not one to typically use this ability as he felt it did infringe but it was needed in these circumstances. He focused the Kido directly into Shin's thoughts as his mind spoke them. "Well done but I felt I needed to return the favor as well seeing as it was such a nice gesture. Unlike just merely removing sight and sound my ability will infringe on your most important asset of the brain. The ability to think clearly. Certainly you will see but ask yourself is what you will be able to see the true reality..." As all battles climaxed an end would be near. He began to concentrated on the collection of his reaitsu for a specific attack. One he hoped would end the battle.

Sight is not the only way... He thought, not that Auri would hear him. So, Shin closed his eyes. He heard the vibrations of his swords, close by, slightly distorted by the Wave of Illusion. Same with the rotation of the rings around Auri, even the massive one rotating in the sky. He made slight movements, enough to keep him moving in case he heard something coming, and kept his ears open.
What are you going to do, Auri... send your rings after me? Something new? Anything's possible... He thought. Well, he'd see. And in the meantime he'd listen to the buzzing of the environment, all brought about by their battle. Why did he have the feeling that it would be all over soon?

Lost within the battle he almost lost sight of what was clearly important. To release his ability would be quite foolish under the circumstance. He was in no clear danger as despite the numrous attacks they both knew the other would come out of the situation. He had also clearly established his ability to be on par with the captain, and wasn't that the goal of the moment? Why show more than neccessary when the goal was already achieved?
The exponential growth in reaitsu presence quickly vanished as he not only stopped the attack from materializing but sealed his Bankai. He remained floating with a rather calm demeanour despite the events that had transpired. He took a moments pause before opening his mouth.
"Well Captain, I'm certain your asking yourself why I sealed my Bankai, the answer to that is quite clear. I've demonstrated all I needed to and in doing so achieved the goal I had planned. To venture further would be simply pointless as I have no intention of having the death of my Captain on my hand. As of this moment, I resign as your Vice Captain. It has been a pleasure to work with you but as I stated earlier I have moved on."
As his vision returned he descended to the ground and began to head north, away from the battle. All was done and now it was time to mark himself within the Sereitei.
