A lot of anime have character/image songs, which are original songs about the character, sung by the characters. Some examples of anime with character songs are Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni, Prince of Tennis, Fullmetal Alchemist, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. The concept may seem silly, but if you listen to them, you can see they can be taken seriously as sort of a character's theme song, and not just a silly karaoke night type thing.
So, what if Trigun had character songs? What kind of songs would you want certain characters to sing? Do you think certain characters would be good at singing? Since character songs are always sung by the Japanese Seiyuu, your opinions would have to based on the Japanese voices, although there are rare occasions when a character song is dubbed into English, such as in Azumanga Daioh, when the character songs were inserted into the anime, and the dub had no choice but to dub them to make sense in context.
Based on Japanese voices, I'd think Wolfwood would have a very nice singing voice.

Well I don't know about Vash actually having a theme song but I always thought he was supposed to be the one singing the episode's ending song, "Into the Future". And he did sing the Vash the Stampede slaughter song song too. Knives has a theme song too in the cds. I do kind of wish there was an actual theme song for Vash himself though.
