 In the back of a dark cave a pair of lionesses sat together, one waiting it seemed while the other sat in front of something though it was almost impossible to tell. The twins worked together always. each doing what the other could not.
Hekate's glowing eyes were closed as she sat in front of her scrying pool slowly where her sockets would be purple flames sprouted as she stared deep into the pool and with a wave of her dark paw over the still water images appeared... Hekate searched through them, she would find the one they sought. "Hurry up sister." Persephone spoke impatiently, she stood and started pacing behind her twin. Persephone always enjoyed it when someone caught her sisters attention. It usually meant she'd get the chance to kill again. But it always took Hekate so damn long. Persephone's eyes glowed with bloody anticipation"Patience sister." she replied coolly "I think I have found him..." Hekate focused on one lion in particular. "Take a good look this male is your target, I will teleport you there." It was always easier for the purple eyed lioness to take her sister there than explain and have Persephone find it herself.
Persephone chuckled after she took a good look at the lions face in Hekate's pool. "Of course sister." She stood beside Hekate as the pool seemed to dissipate into the air. Hekate's envisioned the place where they must go. Shadows enveloped them and they dissapeared from one place appearing in another. "Find him now sister, he is not far." she told Persephone before dissipating herself. This was not her job. Persephone did the bloody work.
Persephone smirked, or would have had she a mouth A scythe materialized in her hand. This weapon she was only aloud to call upon when she worked. Persephone looked at her surroundings, so far she was only in a cave. Nothing to exciting here. Persephone walked forward silently. Hekate had said he was nearby and Persephone didn't doubt her sister's word...
As Persephone neared the cave entrance she saw who she was looking for. If only she had a face... The lioness broke into a run carrying the scythe in waht would seem to be a mouth though it was hard to tell with her being made of shadows. She ran silently, the males back was turned... with a great leap she jumped above the male taking the scythe in hand and with only a single motion the males head rolled the body fell limp to the ground....
"Done." the weapon dissapeared time to return to her twin. her ears flicked back.
"Come out vermin." she hissed sensing another.

 It was perhaps not what Persephone imaged to see, then again with a shadow of her... talent.. one could never be sure. Out of the shadows crept a strange oozing purple substance at the sound of her voice. It slid over the ground, shaping and reforming into different sized puddles and streams until it stopped right in front of her. There it began to raise itself, slightly shaping into a malformed body of a young male lion, the ooze was dipping off in some places, as if it couldn't hold a solid figure.

She could certainly smell something toxic nearby this was far from what she'd expected. But intriguing none the less Persephone quite enjoyed this little surprise. But the fact it couldn't hold it's shape was rather anoying.
"Steady your form boy." she snapped, she could see parts of the lion's form dissapearing on occasion and reforming.. Hekate and herself had never had trouble keeping their forms when they were cubs it had come most natually for the two of them.
"Who are you?"

The form made no sound. It seemed like it tried to tilt its head to one position, as if considering her question. The goop began to drip until the whole piece that was once its head sloshed toward the ground in a giant splash. The ooze didn't seem to mind as it slithered to reshape itself, this time ending up closer toward the shadow female. It then stopped, raising itself to try and touch her, although the touch may have not exactly come in contact with anything solid (with her being a shadow, it worked just the same. If Persephone would allow it, she could see images of the ooze's name swirling through her subconscious.

Interesting, Persephone thought briefly intrigued. The shadows danced around the cubs paw as he attempted to touch the dark lioness. Persephone did allow it after a moment. She could easily destroy the male if need be.
"Vritra is it..." she spoke after a while, he could definitely be molded. into something that could be useful for her.

Just as Persephone understood his name, Vritra almost immediately understood her thoughts toward him. However, at the same time he didn't seem to care. It had been so long since anyone had ever paid any attention to him. This female... he could tell that there was something... off about her, but there was something off about him too, wasn't there? Perhaps this female might finally be the answer he was looking for, someone to teach him how he should be.

The exchange continued and Persephone understood a little more of this male. He was a strange one, indeed like herself he was the by product of something both dead and living. Persephone hadn't looked to far into it to know there was another undead female around besides Morrigan.
"You are just like me it seems Vritra." well there where two things that needed to be worked on right away, his voice and his form. HE seemed to understand her dark intentions though didn't care. He was looking for someone to mold him into who knew what. Well only Persephone would know. Persephone broke contact as she stared down at the young lion.
With a flick of her shadowy tail she announced "You will come with me." He had no way out of this now, Persephone had made up her mind. The two spirits seemed to float around the male for a moment before returning to Persephone as if asking her why. She batted them aside.
"Sister." she called to Hekate through their mental link.
Hekate appeared in a flame of shadows "I am here sister, have you finished?" she asked.
"I have." Persephone responded motioning to the headless lion on the ground.
"You've found a new toy I see, don't break it as fast this time." Hekate warned wit ha slight chuckle.

The young blob of a lion nodded. He had no where to be anyhow. The only thing he regretted at this point was not being able to take his sister with him. She'd find her own path though, and if she didn't... well he'd come and rescue her. He wanted to be stronger, strong enough that he could take out his pain and frustration on the lion who had done this to him... his father. His father would pay for everything he had done to both himself and Kaulai. He would make sure of it.
Stepping closer to Persephone, he tried to mentally ready himself for anything she might throw at him. Though quite honestly, he had no clue what that might be... this female was dark, darker than he had ever known anyone else to be.... He wasn't quite sure what he was getting himself into, but he had determination in the sockets where his eyes should be. He would do his best to see this through, whatever his new mistress wanted of him.

Such an obedient lion. Persephone gave a nod to Hekate "Proceed let's return."
Hekate cackled before beinging their teleportation home. Black shadows surrounded and enveloped them and the three dissapeared reappearing on an empty cliff ledge, a single cave leading into the mountain was all that was there. Though inside the cave would have many twists and turns, making it easy to get lost inside if one wasn't careful.
"Here we are." Persephone spoke to Vritra.
"I have something to take care of sister." she said before dissapearing.

Vritra watched the other lioness whom looked exactly like the first disappear. He mused, tilting his blob of a head to one side. He took in his surroundings, his eyes turning to view off the edge of the cliff side, admiring the view. His tail flicked back and forth playfully until he found a bug to pounce on. His whole body exploded in a trench of goo along the rock, splashing in different places until he pulled himself together, holding out the bug for Persephone to see, proud at his new catch.
