I've read up to the Johto saga and I have to say, it's a much different world then the anime or video games.
It's alot darker. Team Rocket is the main evil for that arc and it definitely cuts away from the 4kids version of Pokemon as most know it.
And Team Rocket tries to kill people with pokemon. xD
I rate what I did read around a 7. ((online as ketsuka, building up her outfits))
I know it's up there, thats why i didnt even pick it up
but if storyline is good, i suppose i can stomach grusomeness
aww heck, i watched most every episode of FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST, which was, no joke, bloody,
also i may be getting into a good-visuals mecha anime that has a tv-ma rating so i can broaden my horizons a smidge for a good story, but only if story is good
you say 7, i think i might read a page or two next time i see a PKMN manga
