To the Goddess I give my heart

So, tommorow I am supposed to be going somewhere with my friend and I REALLY need some time away from the house to clear my head but it is supposed to snow....does anyone know of some really good spells to help melt the snow or at least keep the roads clear? (heck it might not snow at all for all I know) but I'd like to be better safe than sorry....I was going to write my own but I wanted to use a candle to help make it a bit stronger...just not sure what color would be the best not that I have that many to work with but I have a red, a green, a purple, a white, a yellow, a gold, a sliver, and two pink.....what do you guys think the most appropriate color would be....I was thinking yellow but I don't know o.O *is a little lost*

I don't know of any spells for controlling the environment.
Actually, I don't really think it's supposed to be done. Or if it can be done. You can hope for it to not snow. Or hope that the salt trucks do a good job!
You can even scry the future weather! With your local forecast! biggrin
And even if it does snow, enjoy it. It's a part of the earth. And if the powers that be want it to snow, then it's damn well gonna snow. xd Just try to think on the bright side of things! :] rain or shine, snow or sleet! Unless you'll be outdoors most of the time.

Edit: Oh also, I'm not by any means trying to discourage you from trying stuff out. By all means!! try it out, and let us know how it goes. That's the best part, but as always, be mindful and be careful.

The only experience I have in this area was when I was going someone one night and it started to pour. I was really worried because you couldn't see ANYTHING so I just started repeatedly lifting my hands up, as if encouraging the water to easy up a bit. And guess what? It worked. I'm not going to say the storm was over and it was bright as day or anything, but you could see almost clearly out the windscreen and I vaguely (it was two to three years ago) remember thinking that it was like there was a wall of water which was just thicker and heavier a little further in front of the car.

It could have been my imagination, but I have friends who were there, who helped, felt the energy and would back me up about what happened.

Yeah... messing around with the weather in general is not a good idea. Any spell work should be directed at making sure the roads are clear, rather than at trying to stop the snow.

I second too2sweets idea. It's pretty difficult and dangerous to mess with stuff you don't have much knowledge in.

If you end up being stuck about your house take yourself out for a walk or hop on the local bus.
Sometimes getting on a bus and not caring where you go is very liberating.

lol I live in a very small town....there are no buses....o.O and its all figured out so its good razz thankfully.....even though the roads aren't really clear lol

i actually have dabbled in weather magic (or magick, people keep changing it on me sweatdrop ) by trying to make it snow. anyhow though I don't suggest you should do it every day. Though I did make a snow day, in another state sweatdrop . bottom line weather magic is not an exact science. It is difficult to understand the secondary and other impacts this has, therefore look at satellite maps or something before you do anything and remember that mother nature might have a meaning for the snow. (although in my opinion stopping snow is less bad then stopping rain.) Just be sure, be careful, and be concise. (or you'll wind up sending 12 inches to Georgia sweatdrop )

People who try to manipulate the weather bother me. It's like trying to manipulate the Goddess herself.

Not to mention that it messes up the weather everywhere else. As if climate change isn't already enough of a problem for our planet.
