Main Attributes: Large Population (common), advanced technology and the main participants in the War.
Available Ranks: Military, Priest, Politician and/or government, Craftsmen and/or Artisan, courtesan, other
Special: The Common are renown for their ability to work together to achieve goals. This makes them a formidable force, but also one easily manipulated by a strong leader.

Brief Description:
The Common are both the most humanoid and advanced of the three main races. The level of technology used by the Common is generally equal to that of late 1800’s earth, but the areas of weapons and heavy transport are for more advanced then that of the more ‘day to day’ investments (medical and communication are particularly neglected). Common populate almost all areas of Kannavahmen with the exception of a few islands and the deepest reaches of the ocean.

Extended Description:
The Common are the closest thing to humans which inhabit Kannarvahmen and the most variable in terms of physical features. They inhabit the two major continents (Kingdom and United) of the world, as well as several of the smaller islands, which have been colonised.

For centuries that Common have moved through Kannarvahmen, exploring the unknown and converting the old until several decades ago when war broke out between the two nations of Kingdom and United Empire. The cause of this war is mostly lost to history, but it is generally said (by out siders) that the war began due to a misunderstanding or land dispute. Whatever the reason, the war has caused the world to change greatly, with many other races being forced to choose sides or become a casualty of time.

Much of the War is fought at Sea due to the vast distances between the two enemies, but as technology advances, the war is spreading to the polar regions of the planet.

The population of the Kannavahmen is split, for the most part, between the United Empire and The Kingdom. Both continents have an equally mixed population in terms of Common races/nationalities. The war has very little to do with physical race. It’s very much geographical.

Society & Jobs
Religiously, the Common are predominately dedicated to the Communion (yes, Christianesque religion). Both the United Empire and The Kingdom follow this particular religion, but view the teachings to support their own view.

Also, Communion encourages the sciences with in it’s teachings but avidly rejects any other spirituality then it’s own. There are very few superstitious beliefs found within the Common’s culture except with in groups of Sailors and some out post societies in the Polar Circles and deep forest/jungle areas.

Found Appearance: Small bag/bundle

General Physical Appearance:
The Common are essentially human in appearance. The Common are Bipedal, show distinct sexual dimorphism from early childhood, two front facing eyes, two ears, regional differentiation in skin tone, hair colour and eye colour (but this has been lost to some extent by mass migration and a transient population, so you can find all ‘races’ of Common over the world) and are generally between 5’0” and 6’3” tall (but exceptions are found).

Common fashion is varied, depending on the region and dominant culture. Generally, it’s anything in any style (just not plastic/ synthetics. That sort of stuff are only new and experimental technologies mostly used by the military). The Common are somewhat conservative about how much skin is show in public, but this would only apply to a person living in the better off areas of the Capital cities. As a general rule, as long as you’re covering your bits, no one would care.

Art of the Common
