I just found the facebook page of the girl I was best friends with in preschool. She had blonde curls and a sunny smile back when I knew her. Imagine my surprise when I found a black haired, pierced girl under the same name. And she has a son!
Anyone have any stories like this? You see someone after several years and barely recognize their faces?

Something similar happened back in early 2008. I was on myspace, and out of nowhere, a girl from my kindergarten class friended me! She had the class pic and everything. It was pretty ridiculous.
And then I added my other friend, this one indian guy. He was dorky, small, and wimpy when I was friends with him up until high school. Now, he's flashing his bling (his family is filthy rich), showing off his ripped body, and is living the high life.

Well, I've tried the opposite. I met my old nanny's brother around a year ago. We used to play together when we were kids. I hadn't seen him for a year, but had no problems recognizing him. So I turn to talk to him and says: "Hi Niels!" He looks at me as if I was an alien.."Hi..."(he's 3 years older than me) Then I said: "Niels, it's Sarah Maj.."
He almost tripped over in surprise..x)

It seems like karma is more so in small towns. A lot of the popular girls from school have kids now and work at McDonalds or somewhere equally promising while a lot of the uncool kids like me are either living it up at college or have good jobs like me.
It seems like the nerdy kids got hot as adults while the pretty girls got stress acne or gained weighed.. HAHAHAHAHA! Aw, that's mean of me.. HAHAHAHA!

It makes sense... Er, not the pretty girls/nerdy kids appearance thing, but the nerdy and "uncool" becoming successful while the popular end up working at fast-food chains.
I don't feel a great need to become popular at school... I have my best friends, so why need the approval of those I barely know? If I find a good job when I'm older and hopefully make a decent living, that's when I'll go crazy buying Vivienne Westwood shoes and cosplay clothing. :3 It's good to avoid the peer pressue of others. If I hold true to it, I'll be educated, successful, and STILL dorky! Hooray!!
