for the past five years I've been trying to find what religion i am...I know what I believe in but it doesn't fit with anything i've looked up :/ maybe some of you could give me ideas. the only reason i want to know is cause i get asked "what's your religion" a lot and i hate not having an answer.
I believe in multiple gods/goddesses, but i think you find one you connect with at an early age and that is your main god for the rest of your life. My goddess is Artemis(also known as Diana in roman mythology i think).
I believe in reincarnation, but differant than others view it. See i think that there are millions of differant kinds of worlds, and every time you die you get reincarnated into a differant world.
The religion I'm looking for would have to be nature based i think.
I believe that there are people with special gifts such as clairvoyance or telekinesis.
you know stuff like that :/ and it's difficult cause i feel like it's more wicca, but the way paganism is displayed or explained i think they just do things a little over the top for me :/ and i believe in finding your inner self like in buddhism but...um...i tend to be a violent person... so will people help throw me some ideas? lol I don't know all religions so if you know of one that sounds similar id love to hear it.

Whelp, I have the same views as you, except I believe in NO gods at all, and there is only nature. So, I don't know what you would be.

haha i understand it sounds kind of stupid wanting to know if what you believe in is actually a religion but i just get tired of not having an answer to that question. Also it would help knowing what i am when i tell my family i'm not christian >.>

I am in the same boat with you and believe almost the same things, except I believe we are reincarnated to learn something new in each life. I'm not quite sure about which god I most connect with though... But, alas I have no idea what to call me either...

i personally believe that Native American religions would suit you.
you could at least look into them.

((To tell the truth, I don't know what I am...)) Thats called Taoism (Daoism) and its technically not a Religion but some consider it one others dont. Its one of those Ify things, I consider it a religion just it has no god or goddess and it only celebrates Nature and "The Way". You could do some research on it if you wanted to but thats the bare basics of it.

Sounds like a branch of Wicca I've heard about, the eclectic one mentioned above..sort of. lol. I actually have similar beliefs, but I just call myself spiritual. Devotion to a single deity in a pagan religion is what the ancient Greeks did, so that really isn't so unusual... Yeah, I'd say it's some branch of Wicca. There's enough branches of that religion to poke every eye on Earth. lol.

Yes I understand how you can be confused with so many gods, so I can only say when you connect with the ALMIGHTY GOD there will be no confusion. Pray to Him and expect your answers. confused

Strychnine Lovers I heard pantheism is kind of like that, but I'm not entirely sure since I haven't read anything about it... there is also something a little different called panentheism which has intrigues me http://websyte.com/alan/pan.htm
