Tatsuya was a little let down by adulthood so far. It wasn't epic, fun, or different in anyway. He was also sadden to learn their pack had no coming of age ceremony. What was a pack without one?! All packs had them.....right? So during his hunting trip he came up with a plan. The next morning he would sneak out before the pack awoke and find something that could become the pack's new ceremony.
Through the night he could hardly sleep, a twitchy anxiety hung over him for the day ahead. The sun had not yet begun to rise before he could no longer take waiting anymore. Tatsuya stretched quietly before tip toeing through the sleeping bodies of the den and pushing through the den's cover as quietly as he could. Once out he turned wondering if anyone had heard him before making his way down the path that lead away from their den.
"Now what could I do that would be worthy of coming of age in a pack. Solo hunts are so are so easy. We need something more challenging but what?"

Aysu was still having a bit of trouble sleeping in a place that wasn't her old home. She was up before dawn, walking down from the den a ways, looking for a place to watch the sun come up. She was sitting on a large rock when she heard the approach of another, turning to see one of the pack members... Tatsuya, that was his name. Dai said he knew him since he was little, but the setter wasn't little any more.
The smallish retriever smiled a bit at him, curling her tail around her paws.
"Good morning, you're up early," she said sweetly, tilting her head a bit to one side. In part, she had hoped it was Daisuke, it might have been nice to see the sunrise with him, but she didn't let the disappointment show on her face. She wanted to meet new members of Daisuke's pack. They were his family and she wanted them to accept her, despite her background.

"Ack!" Tatsuya jumped at the sound of another's voice. He had thought everyone to still be asleep. He turned to see who it was and relaxed a bit seeing that it was Aysu. For some reason he felt like what he was out to do might have been objectionable to his uncle, but he was determined either way. "Good morning Aysu ma'am.......um what are you doing up so early?" Tatsuya asked with a smile.

Aysu smiled a little sheepishly and shrugged.
"I... haven't adjusted to sleeping out here just yet. I keep waking up and having trouble going back to sleep," she admitted, standing and hopping off of her perch. She realized what she had said and made a face that confirmed she partly regretted her honesty.
"Oh, don't tell Daisuke. I wouldn't want him to worry or anything. Transitions take time, that's all," she added, her expression turning hopeful that he would keep quiet about it.

"Its ok I understand, I won't tell him. He can be a bit of a worry wart at times." Tatsuya paused for a moment. "I understand all about transitions so no worries." Tatsuya stood still which was rather odd for him. He wasn't sure what else to say to her. She seemed to be the type that might go tell on him or something. Really he wasn't transitioning to well into the pack himself and it was for rather selfish reasons. He didn't like that the attention was not all on him anymore. Raithen and Daisuke used to be Tatsu's only family and now it seemed like they had made other families while Tatsuya was gone. "How did...you meet Daisuke?" Tatsu asked really just pulling the question out of thin air.

Aysu smiled at his question, remembering her first encounters with Dai. They were happy, or at the least interesting times.
"I would go out, sometimes. Trips to the park once every couple of weeks wasn't really enough exercise, so while Kumi- er, my mistress' father was out and her tutors were in, I would hide my collar and go out. I bumped into him one day and I guess we've been friends ever since," she replied, a touch of sadness coming to her eyes when she mentioned her old home, but it was fleeting. She didn't like to dwell on the past or the "pup" she had lost. She was moving on, she had to move on.
"What about you? How did you meet Daisuke?"

Tatsuya was a little confused by some of the terms she used, he was and always had been a wild dog after all but he listened with the utmost attention anyways. He caught the sadness that came to her eyes for only a moment and pondered what it was all about. "Why did you leave your old home?" Tatsuya asked with a tilt of his head.
"Well it was a sad meeting actually. He and my father Raithen found me as a pup hiding under a bush..I threatened them that I would hurt them if they got to close, Thankfully they ignored me and took me in. My parents had been killed and I was all alone, I would most likely be dead if it weren't for Raithen and Daisuke."

Aysu looked away sadly, both for his story and the sad memories his inquiry brought up. It was no secret that she was a former pet, she would never be ashamed of the short time she had with the young human she loved as much as if she were her own pup. Why was it that the purest, kindest of children have to die so young?
"My mistress was very sick. She died and I had only been there for her. Her father told his friend to take me away, that he didn't want to see me any more. I guess I was too much of a reminder, he was packing away all of her things." She paused there, trying to get her emotions under control. Kumiko wouldn't have wanted to see her sad.
"She was taking me to a bad place when I escaped. I just ran until I couldn't run anymore and Daisuke found me... I don't know what would have happened if he hadn't..."

"I'm sorry for your loss...Its seems both you and I owe Daisuke a lot." Tatsuya said with a reassuring smile. He was finally feeling more like he could accept her as a pack member despite the fact that it seemed she had not given up her pet life willingly but more circumstantially.
Sad thoughts aside Tatsuya remembered what he was out for, but he felt a little less like doing it now. It was still important to him though, but Daisuke had been to busy organizing the pack and such. "Think Daisuke will have time to spend with me alone again? I don't mean to sound selfish I guess...I guess I just miss the attention. And dad always seems busy with who knows what. And Buldar is to busy for me and well females no offense just plain confuse me!! Sorry I'm rambling.." The setter said dropping his head looking a little bit more like a puppy again.
