Crysella looked at the two boys for a moment then shrugged her shoulders, she wasn't a dummy, but boys will be boys and nothing would stop that, no point in trying, and no point in acting any different to spare Tod's feelings as she turned and gave Trey another kiss. "Go and gather everyone," she said, her voice taking on a hint of authority that Tod wouldn't have heard before. This was her element and these were her people, and they had better listen regardless of petty boy problems, and Trey knew that as well as he nodded and let go of Crysella to jog off in another direction.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------It was okay. He didn't have to win right away. Tod knew he had time, and he'd use that to his advantage. He'd scheme! He was a small scale schemer so he could make this work.
Trey left them and Tod looked at Crysella. "Everyone's coming here...now?" He asked sounding a little apprehensive. No matter how brave Tod was trying to be he couldn't hide the worry. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow the Rules? Crysella nodded, "We move the meetings around, Trey will make sure everyone is here." with that she set her bucket down and gestured Tod over. "Come sit, we need to go over what you know before everyone gets here, we should have about an hour." Yeah, Crysella wanted all her facts and information straight when she introduced him and all that jazz.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------Tod frowned. He didn't want to go over what he knew, that was very stressful because it forced him to really wrack his brain! He wasn't about to argue though, because he knew going over s**t was important. Tod sat where Crysella instructed and sighed. "Well I know a lot of different things. What genre do you want to know about first?" He figured letting her decide what was most important to her would be a good place to start, --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow the Rules? crayons 4 the color blind Crysella knew exactly what genre she wanted to know about first, and regardless if it made her sound like a brute or not that was what she was going to ask about. "Weapons." she said plainly, they needed first off to know what they were up against.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------Tod nodded. Well that was reasonable he supposed...they were going to war after all. "Well personally, I think a head on attack to the Empire would be suicide. There's no way you can really win as you are right now." At least he was honest. "They're got your standard bullet guns, safety suits, launchers, of every kind. Then they have special things like, bombs that disintegrate everything in a 100 foot radius, There's no explosion just the disappearance of everything and everyone. Um, there's these little probes they shoot at a subject that enter the body and cause a serious amount of pain...sort of the like torture you put up with, but it starts off on high and it's not something to mess with. High tech stuff like needle guns are used a lot. They shoot and needle and once it's inside you it can force you to combust at any moment. Really messy stuff...there's so much." He said looking over at Crysella like he didn't even know where to start. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow the Rules? Crysella felt her gut wrench at the amount of brute destruction the Empire could cause. Which meant they had to get inside and dismantle the whole damn... everything... She looked at Tod, "How are we going to do this?" she asked quietly.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------"Remember how I said I was the "key" to the Empire?" He asked raising an eyebrow. "I'm also the on button, and the off button...see how that works?" Tod was defiantly valuable. "Right now the vault is on. Anyone can get in an out of the major weapons ward, we're dead. But, if we can get to that room somehow, I can turn it onto lockdown. As far as I know I'm the only key. So they won't have access to the scarier weapons. "
Tod frowned. "Theres a vault on each Empire landing though. and there are four of those. The biggest vault is on my Empire landing because it's the most heavily guarded." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow the Rules? Crysella looked at him nodding again before looking up at the crack of a twig and raising her eyebrow. "Why are you back so soon Trey?" she asked, her tone a bit worried. "Nothing to worry about, everyone was already heading over here, saying something about how they had been talking and-" Trey stopped at a younger female voice pipped up "Talking about how we haven't had a meeting since before you were caught and that we needed to have one." the girl said with a shrug. Crysella waited patiently for the 13 or so people to form a circle around her, Tod, and Trey before looking around.
"Alright everyone, we can get to capturing details later, there are more important things to discus here." a collective murmer "This," she said gesturing to Tod "Is Tod, he is a former resident of the Empire and he ran away, now-" she frowned as people began talking and cleared her throat, when that didn't work Trey stood up and told them all to shut up cause she wasn't finished, and they did. "Thanks Trey, anyways, he has information he is going to share with all of you." there.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------Woah, this was a lot of people. Tod wasn't really shy...at all. If anything he was an extrovert and had all the qualities of a good public speaker, but that was usually because he wasn't being judged...and usually because no one had a reason to possibly hate him. Here though, out in the murk, it was a different story entirely.
That, and, he didn't know what sort of information he was supposed to tell them. Tod looked at the crowd, his eyes more green than blue now that the light was hitting them, smiled nervously, then turned to Crysella for help.
Quickly he decided Crysella couldn't do much for him now and decided to wing it. "Hi" Wow, what a way to start the speech. But, the Empire had wanted Tod to be their spokesperson for a reason. "I know most of you are probably wondering why some prissy Empire kid is out here in the murk. And I know almost all of you don't trust me, not even a little bit." Tod exhaled. "But, I'm risking my life to be here, and long story short," He said scratching the back of his neck, "you guys can't beat the Empire without me. You think you know the Empire, but you don't. You don't know the secrets, the weaponry, the ins and outs, the upcoming events, and I do. You can't unlock the holding chambers, you can't get passed security or trick the higher ups, I can."
Tod looked back over to Crysella.
"There are four Empire landings. Each landing is equipped with weapons you probably couldn't even imagine. You can't fight the empire using your make shift weapons. Each landing as a wall, and though there are blind spots, there are cameras everywhere and there are no blind spots when you go to infiltrate the inner sectors. I propose we stage a kidnapping."
Well apparently Tod could think on his feet. "Make it public that I was kidnapped. The Empire will want me back but they'll be careful because they want me back safe and sound. We need to set up a decoy camp so that they attack that place while we...have an underground base, or something secretive like that. While they're fussing over me and and are down a number of troops, we take a party and attack Empire Landing 4, they'll be the first to send out troops. We take a team and go through the wall blind spots where we will then go to the weapons base, and steal those weapons. After that they'll be panic. After that make it known that I'm scheduled to be executed publicly. They'll be desperate and come out into the murk. The Empire doesn't know the murk whatsoever, so we not only have the home field advantage, but the gorilla advantage. If it goes accordingly, we'll be able to take on the Empire....so long as we have some of those scary flying wolf things to help us out." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow the Rules? Crysella watched as Tod began to speak, wondering how long he had planned this out. He hadn't been out her but for two days and already he had thought of all this? There was a murmur of outrage when Tod told them they didn't know the Empire, which they knew was true, but treating them like children was not the way to go about winning favor. When he looked back over at her she raised an eyebrow that told him he was an idiot, but her smile betrayed her amusement. He really had thought this out, or winged it. But he seemed to be pretty good at winging it anyways.
"Your wrong, we will be able to take on the first wave that they send out to "save" you." Trey said looking at Tod, and this wasn't even him being competitive or anything Trey was pointing out a flaw that he had seen in the Empire kids plan. "Even the Empire isn't stupid enough to send all their troops out on a rescue mission." he said. "And the second time they attack they will be better prepared." Crysella put in, looking at Tod.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------How was he going to explain this one? "Well I mean, no they won't...but it'll turn into a war eventually." Well...yeah. "I mean, for our sakes they better not send out all their troops in one shot." That would be the worst case scenario for the resistance. "But what I'm saying is, the point is really, that the first people that come out to get me will be from landing 4. They will send a lot of people for me I'm 100% positive." His Mother and Father would be FREAKING out. "We're not going to even have to fight those troops...at all. Let me just explain. It will be classified that I've been kidnapped and that there's a rescue party. The only people that will know what's happening is the higher ups, and the actual rescue party. The people guarding the weapons vault in landing 4, won't even know I'm gone. So because there aren't heavily guarded inner sectors due to our rescue mission distraction, we can get in to landing 4. I can slip in without alarm because I belong in the weapons ward. Then after it's all done you guys kill the guards that have seen me. I'll disable all the cameras and everything. We've got the key, to the whole entirety of the Empire....how can we lose with that on our side?"
Being the key to the Empire really did have it's advantages. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow the Rules? Where's the fun in that? ---------
