I would like to start off by saying I am a massive Zelda fan and have been as long as I can remember. I remember playing Links Awakening as a child. Good times.
As for the best Zelda game, its gotta be TP IMHO. Not only is the best in the series, but its the best game I've ever played. Period. Anyone else longing for a new huge Zelda adventure? I got bored of Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass too fast. : (

welcome.
i remember link's awakening. the color version was the first zelda game i had. i just recently got to play the older black and white links awakening. i dont know what one is better.
here is what each version has going for it:
color version: has an extra dungeon, at the end are tunics that power you up.
black and white: the Almighty Screen Warp Glitch
i pick the black and white one mrgreen

LOL I don't remember how old I was when it came out, but i hated Lord Jabu Jabu's belly. I would make my brother beat it for me. Ahh, the good old days when you couldn't beat the simplest of levels. LOL
