Hmmm. It is what made it so complicated for the others when they tried to include what became for them too much information. You don't want that, but helpful information to include might be stat layouts (They're probably out there) and how to obtain said pokemon to begin with. (Obtaining Feebas is enough to pull anyone's hair out.)

And, in conjunction with stat layouts, suggestions on personality type that would be most beneficial to stat increases to make the best use of that layout.....but that is in itself questionable, since while most would love their Alakazam to have the highest Special Attack possible, a few sneaks would love to surprise their foes with an Alakazam that has an unusually high attack instead to kick the enemy when they're down...or to use Psycho cut.

These are just suggestions. The basic information above is still quite good. Beings as I don't do tournament battles (yet, this may change soon when I get wireless), my main concern with pokemon is just how to get my hands on them. Don't overwhelm yourself, pick out the best basic information possible, and you're good to go.

Ah, I've never been particularly skilled at calculating EV's and only have a very basic grasp of the issue, and that has to do with how personalities affect it. It's mostly because I've never had much need to as I don't do tournaments. (Yay for wireless soon!) Adamant natures are grand for physical attackers. *L*

So, yes, "most effective" personality information might be a help for those of us who are EV dimwits. I can pick apart all of Serebii.net's information overload regarding EV's, but I think that with beginners it pays to be more basic. The only way I'd ever slap Psycho Cut on a poor Alakazam would be so he'd be able to breed it into some other pokemon. It's virtually useless to him with his lousy attack. (Memorizing general stat layouts of all pokemon to pick good moves for them is something I'm better at.)

I only discovered yesterday that I could, in fact, find wild Togepi! On that island on route 230 with the Poke Radar. Took me over twenty minutes but I managed to nab four in the end. It pays to know these things, I've found...

i have a shiney as well, but then again ive been playing since the original games came out and ive gotten all 492 as shineys and sombody traded me a hacked arceus wich was shiny soooo i have 493 shiny pkmn. tip, if you have a pokesav and never want a particular pkmn to be tradeable, theres a particular ribbon you can give it so that it can never be traded on the gts, but it can through the normal trade system. arceus to hg and ss for example. the ribbon in question is the classic ribbon.
