Normally a night owl, today seemed to be different. He wasnt able to sleep much for some reason and was up and out of the forest by late afternoon. He was easily annoyed that he didnt get his full sleep, even if he didnt really need it. There was just something about being able to sleep soundly. Ah well, at least this way he could be up and out before any of the other stallions in the small herd. Not that he really spent time with them anyway. The only one he spent any time with now seemed to have his hip attatched to some mare. He snorted at the thought and just shook the hair from his eyes. Hn...its okay. He didnt need anyone, and besides, this way, he could be even more of an a** without having to think about others. Maybe there was an upside to being up early afterall.
He headed out of the forests edge, the still warm sun felt so good on his pelt. It was a feeling he didnt often get, being a nightwalker and all. He could get used to this... maybe he would have to start waking up early more often. He slowly made his way to the nearest stream to get some water, wondering if the water itself was any warmer. Not that it mattered, but having just woken up, it wasnt as if he had too many deep brooding thoughts running through his mind. Not that he ever did normally anyway.

Hydro, cold hearted and alone, walked through the forest tired of being by herself all the time. She was older now and wanted some kind of company even if for a little while. She hated it, but loved it and that bothered her. "Mother I wish you were here." She said lightly before walking on remembering the talk she had with Calon how people care about you even when you don't know it. Would someone actually care about her? She wanted to know if anyone could look at her as a friend. In her mind that probably wasn't going to happen unless hell itself froze over literally.
Walking more, she noticed a sound in the distance making her raise her brow then seeing another horse matching in with the scenery around him. She walked towards him more and huffed a bit not believing herself that she was approaching someone. "Hello." She spoke to him from a good distance before stopping in her tracks watching him more thinking he resembled a snake with those patterns. "Are you trying not to be seen by blending into the scenery?" She asked him with her eyes narrowing slightly at the male.

Hearing the voice a little off in the distance, an ear flicked before he turned to look at her. He took a moment to process her words, to look her over before he smirked. His forelock hid his all black eyes well and he chuckled a bit at her words. "Not at all sweetheart," his words were confident and sharp. "Im afraid this is all natural with no intention behind it."
He was rather curious as to why he was being approached, especially by one that seemed so standoffish. He gave a yawn, still just soaking in the sun, completely relaxed and a little amused by this one. "Are you afraid of snakes?" he teased.

Hydro listened to the male as she stood there firmly not really having any intention of moving from her spot at the moment. "Ah I see. Snakes? No I have never even seen a snake. I lived in the arctic so the only thing there was those that could withstand the chill of the air." She told him before relaxing her muscles a bit and giving a snort since for once she was alright where she was. This male didn't seem to give off any kind of aggressiveness making her feel a little better. "So what is your name?" She asked him as she laid on the ground by a bush wondering what the male was doing out wandering the woods. "Do you have somewhere you need to go?" She asked slightly glaring at him not really caring if he said yes and left her right then and there. It would just show that her time isn't worth anything. She had high self-esteem, but knew that people had their own lives. She wasn't a part of every single one either. "I'm Hydro." She told him in a simple monotone voice. "I'm not use to a forest with no snow. I'm guessing that is common here?" She asked him giving him a cold stare.

Her response made him blink a bit and his curiosity got the better of him, allowing his egotistical nature to drop. "The artic?" he asked as he shifted a bit, starting to come closer. He watched her lay down and he come close enough to where he could peer at her easily with his all black eyes. Her attitude and seemingly non caring attitude made her a hard target to make fun of or to be so proud around and in turn, he shifted to lay down as well.
"Thats far... isnt it?" he nodded to the north, motioning as if that was where it was. He had never met anyone that wasnt from around here, and he studied her a bit almost as if he didnt believe her. "Yeah... snow isnt... all that common here." his look finally shifted back to the forest edge. Her stare didnt bother him, it was odd. She felt honest enough, and it was as if her hard edge caused his to soften more.
"I am Anon...," he smirked a bit. "For Anonymous, heh. Its nice to meet you Hydro..." It was the first time he really even bothered to give another his name, let alone settle next to a stranger willingly. Maybe it was because he met someone harder than himself.

Hydro heard his questionable response and nodded her head before watching the green and black male lay down beside her. "Yes the arctic. It's been a very lonely life and I'm sure you wouldn't want to hear about it anyway." She shrugged and laid there yawning trying to keep her mouth shut. "Yes it's a pretty far walk if that is what you want to hear. It's tiring and the first time I got here I think I slept the whole day I arrived." She told him before digging a hoof into the ground as she thought about it. She came because she wanted to find a place in the world. There wasn't many horses up where she came from and coming here was probably the best choice for herself.
"I figured it wasn't, but I did see some when I first arrived. Sadly it was in the mountains I crossed over." She told him in a bit of a sad voice. "Hmm that is an interesting name. It's nice to meet you as well." She told him before looking out into the darkening woods making her get a little scared, but nothing she couldn't handle. "So what is your story?" She asked him with a slight nudge to his shoulder not knowing why she did it, but didn't think anymore then three seconds on it.
