Exclusive Interview #1
Interviewer: Who is Johnathan Riker? What you like growing up?
Riker: Um... Growing up I was just like every other kid. I lived in a two story house, I had loving parents, and went to school.
Interviewer: So what happened in your past to have you end up like you are now?
Riker: Ha.. My parents loving through they were, they were major drug dealers. From what I remember I was about six or five, and I was playing in the upstairs den. When all of a sudden I hear a loud crash and a few seconds letter voice followed by gun shots. I came running to my parents room scared, and what do I see. Cops have raided my house and my parents are dead. Cops said as soon as they kicked in the door they pulled the guns and leveled um, so it was either them or my parents. After that I was thrown from Orphanage to Orphanage, due to violence and anger issues. It wasn't until if fifteen when I was free to leave the orphanage, that I went to life of crime and ended up in New York's maximum security prison for violence related charges. After my four years in there I left and went to wrestling. I haven't looked back since.
Interviewer: You seem like a nice guy, what's the difference between you and your in-ring persona.
Riker: Nothing really. In person, if you saw me on the street I'd wave to ya, say hi, ask you about your family. But when I'm in the ring, and in character. I take the darker side of my personality and take it to the extreme. Sometimes I feel like a completely different person when I'm in character.
Interviewer: Speaking of In-Ring... Your very first match was in GWWF, against what some would consider a legend in, Guy "The Fox Cancer. What were your thoughts going into the match?
Riker: Well like you said it was first match, so I was quite nervious. I was thinking things like Am I gonna bomb, will they like me, what well they think if I lose my first match? However when I walked through that curtain all I was focused on was displaying to the crowd that I belong in the ring.
Interviewer: Do you think the fans bit at the bait?
Riker: I'd like to think so. Or else I wouldn't be here giving you this interview, otherwise I'd probably be at Mike's Deli serving you a generic Italian sub.

Interviewer: So you've just had your first match in GWWF against, Guy "Fox" Cancer. How do you look back on that match.
Riker: I'm gonna be honest... I didn't really enjoy the match. But why I choose to put it on the DVD is cause two things.. One... Facing someone like Guy is an opportunity few debuting stars get, and that opportunity can be worked to your advantage if you let. See going into that match against Guy showed me the standard for talent required to perform with some of the greats. So it was a better warm up then what most stars get. Secondly... It's my very first televised match, it's got a special place in my heart.
Interviewer: GWWF was also the home of your first major feud with none other then Industry legend, Cartwright! However that feud was never pushed or cultivated into something great. Can you elaborate?
Riker: Uh yeah.. The feud between Me and Cartwright was supposed to be the feud that made me a superstar. See it was Me and Cartwright, and for some reason or another. I just don't like him. I don't know their is just something about him that urks me. Anyways Cartwright and I had built up a lot of tension between each other, and really got the crowd into it. However do to Booking Issues or something of that matter in GWWF management, me and Cartwright were kept apart during the Booking process and we we're never given the chance to really make the feud blossom.
Interviewer: So after the failing feud with Cartwright over in GWWF, the very same person that you were supposed to be feuding with in GWWF offers you a contract to EEW. What was your take on this?
Riker: At first was speechless really.. Ya know? Cause when your not that famous and your a struggle wrestler, EEW is the Mecca, it's where you aspire your career to end up in.. Well anyways at the time Cartwright had offered me a contract for EEW, GWWF was starting to hit a low point and wasn't really going anywhere. So I made a decision right there. Drop the dieing Fed and join the band waggin'.
Interviewer: So your heading into EEW we're you nervous like you first match?
Riker: No not as much, but I had that shiver go down my spine. I remember thinking to myself. "You made it John, EEW, home of the Big Dogs. It's time to put up shut up." Cause in GWWF had experience going up against people like Guy Cancer, and Cartwright, so was really too worried about the competition at EEW, it was more the fans I had to worry about cause the EEW crowd is unlike any other crowd. They're hard to please.
Interviewer: Before we get off the GWWF subject. I got one thing to ask. Did you ever think you would be returning to GWWF?
Riker: Truthfully no. I thought it was dead and over. But I always prayed it come back so I can go home. So can only imagine how I was when I head of it's triumphant return. God I was at home bouncing off the walls I was so excited.
