Squads I and II where at full strength, III which had sustain heavy casualties where back with Fischig. Each had two shrapanel grenades and a firebomb on them in addition to their usualy armament. There shotguns where at the ready. Motion trackers in their face plate following every shift. They were ready.

Cloud had left her cave in search for Benson. Finding him by a nearby tree, she smiled.
"You made it!" She grinned happily.

Ben raised a finger to his lips, to silence her.

Cloud turned to where he was pointing, her eyes growing red as she did.
She turned back to him.
"Andy, listen to me carefully, you are to go to my cave and wait there for my return."
She turned back to look at the upcoming shadows.
"And you aren't to let ANYONE in."

Squad I moved around to the entrance of the garden as Squad II set up a fire line. At the entrance a fire bomb was lit and thrown into the garden. The container burst upon hitting the ground, sending small fragments of steel flying along with the dangerous promethium fuel to burn. It stuck to what ever it came into contact with and was likely to burn through flesh and bone if it hit. As the flames went up Squad II opened fire, four rounds went through the air towards the target. Moving in a leap frog pattern they changed their location, voicing updates over the short com units to Squad I.

Benson nodded and turned to go.
"Cloud?" He looked at her carefully before hugging her and whispering "Be Careful"
With a flash of blinding light, he was gone.

Cloud ducked as the bomb went off, avoiding the flying particles. She felt a bullet hit her arm, but ignored it.
Her fangs were bared and her blood was pounding.
"Why not send your 'leader' out to finish this?" She yelled.
"Or is he too chicken to take on a simple vampire?"
Her eyes were blood-red and her anger was unmeasureable.

The Operation a sucess they withdrew from the area. Potential wounded of the enemy along with property damage with no casualties of their own. A good sign. Back into the wilderness they went. To prepare for their next assault.

Ava led the men away from the burned wreckage that was a garden a few moments ago. The men and her went back to the base camp. There mission complete.

Rias settled in the garden. Nari landed on her shoulder. She frowned. "Why burn this place? What is the point of it?" She growled in anger. It faded into nothing. These few were making her mad. Who would defile a sacred place of the Earth. Especially a place such as this had been. Nari stretched her wings, looking around in agitation. "Don't worry. We'll find out what is going on Nari. We will also find the whereabouts of Illiana. She will not be harmed." Rias closed her eyes and shot up into the air.
