I looked around for two pages of the main forum to see if I could find the thread that's similar to this one, but no such luck, so here's another go.
According to my TV Guide, PBS (and I'm guessing UNC as well, since they almost always air the same things at night) will be showing new DW starting January 9 at 11pm, with a cut-down Doctor Who Confidential to follow, rounding out the hour.
The weird thing is that it seems to be starting with The Sontaran Stratagem and following a week later, The Poison Sky. Which is really weird. It's not only from S4 but it's not even the beginning episodes.
I'm afraid this means the end of Classic Who on PBS, for now at least (edit: and the end of Blackadder reruns). Which suuucks. confused That was currently my only means of watching the Fourth Doctor's episodes.
Is Doctor Who airing on any other non-BBC channels for you guys?

I'm pretty sure syfy runs it on occision...
though, while it's not on TV, I know someplace for you to watch Classic who episodes! doctorwho-episodes.com it's a really good website!

Yeah, SyFy has been running S4 about 5am Fridays for months, over and over, except when they decide to show something else in that slot. But I heard SyFy LOST Doctor Who, so that may not be going on any more.
A year or so ago S1 was on UNC-TV. Don't know if they ever showed any more.

From what I heard, SyFy didn't so much lose the rights to Doctor Who as they simply handed them back to BBC. So BBC America will be airing it from now on.
No clue about SJA as SyFy only aired series one and didn't bother with two.

It really sucks that Doctor Who left SyFy. Thank gawd my dad got the biggercable package, so that we have BBC. If he didn't i would probably scratch his eyes out.

I agree...Syfy is stupid. That was one of the only good things on Syfy. I am happy that my husband loves me enough to pay 20 extra dollars to get the bigger cable package just so I can watch Doctor Who...of course after Saturday my heart is sooo completely broken crying ....but I will be excited for the new episodes coming on this year. biggrin
