For the past two Christmas seasons, ZOMG has done a special event in the fountain area of Barton town. This event revolves around the idea of opening presents left under a gigantic Christmas tree (that temporarily replaces the fountain). As you open the presents, you are either rewarded with gold/loot/rings/etc. or punished with a monster attack.

Now, if you open 50 presents, then you are awarded the Santa's Little Helper badge. However, does anybody happen to know if there is an additional badge for opening a greater amount? For example, does something happen if you open 250 presents?

Not that it makes much difference but I've been a present opening fiend this year...and I still only have the Santa's Little Helper badge (which I earned at the very end of last year).

Not that I know of.

Last year's event only featured the 50 present badge.

I didn't even touch zOMG! for the event this year, honestly.

Thanks for the feedback, Cap'n. I didn't think that there was anything above the 50 present badge, especially since nobody seemed to be mentioning it. I just wondered if the developers had added one, since a lot of players had earned the previous badge last year.

Ironically, I touched zOMG! quite a bit this holiday, but it was almost exclusively to open presents under the tree... xp

I kind of regret it, actually.

Last year I got a ton of stuff from it.

I also dodged the Halloween event, which I heard was a lot better than last year's.

I kind of regret it, actually. Last year I got a ton of stuff from it.

If its any consolation, you probably didn't miss out much from this year's Christmas event. I opened 100+ presents, and most of the rewards were either gold or monsters... I did get a couple recipes and one ring, but the gifts didn't give me much in the way of loot/items. I was kinda hoping to get more Christmas loot since I fell short on some stuff from last year.

I missed last year's Halloween event, but this year's event was pretty cool. The trick-or-treating was great for rewards. Plus, they added the whole evil portal aspect (which included new kill badges, Halloween recipes, and new loot). I rather enjoyed it even if I didn't have much time to participate!

A little off-topic for this thread, but the only thing that I've heard has been rumors and speculations. A lot of people having been dicussing the possibility that ZOMG will open up to other areas (such as Durem) in order to continue the game beyond the current areas.

I don't, however, recall seeing any official announcement of this being done...
