I was reading a webcomic called "Charby the Vampirate" recently. It's very well-written with lovely art but something has me confused. Two of the characters; Tony and Yiska, are Alps, though I do know most of the stories associated with them one thing as me confused. The comic shows them as having a certain "aversion" to lemons. I have never found anything about that in anything I've read. So what I want to know is; do alps really have some sort of tic with lemons or was this an artistic liberty taken by Amelius?

According to legends regarding how to deal with Alp attacks, shoving a lemon into an Alps mouth was said to weaken it drastically.

I have never heard that before. It's sort of funny isn't it? The methods people come up with for dealing with monsters. But thank you very much for clearing that up. Now I understand why Tony freaked out over eating lemon chicken (shame though that stuff's good!)
