I can't believe I'm admitting this. Feel so dumb. gonk
Anyway, I'm worried for Christmas. I don't know if I am going to get the gifts that I really want, and they mean a lot to me. They make Christmas very, very nice.
Usually, in times like this, I'd pray while holding my Wishing Fish (a semi-transparent 1-pound blue-rainbowish bathroom decoration made of marble-like rock that I pull out and wish/pray with in my hand whenever I want something to happen), but since I don't know where it's at this time, I've decided that maybe prayer in its' entirety might help, especially if more than one person joins in. I'm not sure I will get any presents at all (we have every year, and we have a lot of nice things), but because where I live the bills skyrocketed and everything is starting to cost so much, I'm just not sure about this year; Thanksgiving wasn't even that big, which was very, very different from all the rest of the years I've been alive here in my family.
We were doing fine until the bills got high, like I've already said. I don't think it's right that we suddenly have to pay so much for everything just becayse the Bay area people moved in and the stores decide to up the price of a small strip of gum to 50 cents when it used to be only 25. I mean, that is upsetting, to me, but I'm aware that there are much worse problems and bills...
I know I'm not the only family in my area (Central California) that is having a rough time all of a sudden. Many other families like mine make enough if not plenty of money, and they, themselves, don't know how they're going to have Christmas.
So, please, praying will help, I think. Also, if you have a fish or any other ornamental bathroom decoration, please hold it in your hand while doing so since on this sad day, I am unable to... believe it or not it might help me feel better.

Anyway, I understand what you're going through. Money is ALWAYS low in my family though, Christmas just makes it worse. sad
I hope that you will have a happy Christmas. I know what it's like to be depressed about the gift stuff. *hug* I will say a prayer.

I will pray for you but i think there is more to christmas than just gifts and things like that. it is also a day of being with your family and jesus' birthday too. so just keep in mind tht ther is more than just christmas.

I agree with Mystic. heart JESUS is the reason for the season! Presents and money are all great and stuff, but Jesus is all that really matters on Christmas. After all, it's CHRISTmas. I will pray for you, but not in the way that you think. I will pray that you can have a beautiful holiday season, and celebrate your family and Jesus. heart God bless
