Scythe will play these characters. Headmaster Armand Orion Parr Name: Armand Orion Parr Position: Headmaster Gender: Male Age: Unknown Race: Demon Abilities/Affinity/Skill: Armand has magic capabilities ranging through almost all of the types of magic. He is telepathic and is able to work telekinesis. Due to his mastery of shadow magic, he can change his appearance. However, no students know, and a few select teachers may know. His next best is in the area of fire magic with the other types lagging behind. Armand is sufficient in sword fighting and fencing, but fails against the highly skilled. As one can tell from this description, he is more of a mage than a warrior. Appearance: Despite his age unknown to everyone else, Armand seems to be in his mid 20’s, eerily young for a headmaster. Standing at 5' 8'', the lad has reddish hair and gray eyes and is of medium build. His skin is pale. He usually dresses in some shade of black or white with black boots. Though not usually with him, he does have a sword in his office. When appearing in front of the entire school, he usually appears donning a cape, making him look rather noble and serious and in a way, balancing out his speeches, which may or may not be serious. Personality: He may or may not care about things. Armand is rather sarcastic and playful or he is stern and stoic. He enjoys chaos and shirks his duties randomly as well. Armand, believe it or not, has an extremely long fuse. It is almost impossible to make him angry or in the case that he is, it may be quite hard to tell due to his two usual stances of stoic and sarcastic. The matters concerning the school and its secret are perhaps the only reason Armand has become somewhat serious. However, that is the key word. “Somewhat” serious. The headmaster has a somewhat of a mischievous attitude. History: It has been quite a few years since Armand became headmaster of the Nexus Academy. Before settling down, Armand traveled the world with some of his fellow teachers and caused unrest more than half the time he visits a town to the dismay of some of his companions. Though one would think that as headmaster, Armand should be serious, Armand is the opposite. He contributes to the “School of Pranks” and pulls pranks of his own as well. One must note, however, that he does guard the secret of the academy and protect his staff. Other: Armand is a demon, but of course, only some teachers will know this information… as they may be demons as well! This character is borrowed from Lise Illumincroix/Lost Realms. Abilities/Affinity/Skill: As a former thief, Estas is lithe and agile with fingers and legs. He is much better at dodging and running away than fighting though he will have a knife on him at all times due to habit. Estas's water magic is limited. The only method he's somewhat mastered is creating air bubbles to breathe underwater and to act as weak shields.
Appearance: Estas comes with sleek black hair, usually tied in a low pony tail that reaches to just above his mid back. The Angle is slender with violet eyes and stands at a height of 5'6''. Estas usually dons loose fitting clothes and wears a Robin Hood style hat with a purple feather tucked in its side. He tends to like to dress with style to woo the ladies.
Personality: Outgoing, full of smiles. Inside, Estas likes nothing more than to scare students (by stealing objects and making them disappear) and make the girls swoon over him. However, girls, watch out. If you're looking for bravery in a fight, Estas might be a bit lacking as he's better at running away.
History: As a young child, Estas had been privy to the joys of attempting to master water magic. However, as a war raged on, Estas's family found themselves in hard times and unable to continue Estas's education. Ill fortune shone on the Landry family as they gave up their land to handle debts. Without the knowledge of his parents, Estas had taken up thievery to help feed his family. The Angle grew bolder and bolder, until one day, he was found out. While being hunted, the Angle escaped through forest, hiding in a cave and accidentally slipping unknowingly through a portal. When he came to, he was staring at the bottom of Armand's boot.
Other: Due to his affinity to water magic, Estas dislikes fire. Unfortunately, this weakness has been made use of by Armand. Estas wants to go back to see his parents, but he is unaware of their condition and would have to face capture if he returned.

Abilities/Affinity/Skill: Abnormally strong strength, most likely due to training and practice, and expertise in swords and axes. Ruben is able to forge weapons thought it takes him a very long time. In terms of magic, if Armand is tone deaf to seriousness, then Ruben is to magic. He is so tone deaf that magic sometimes won’t work on him for some strange reason.
Appearance: Standing tall at a height of 6’ 1’’, the bearded Ruben is an imposing person. His light brown hair frames his face and is always tidy unlike that of Armand’s. Ruben is stronger than he looks.
Personality: Ruben is a loudspoken man with an open heart. Unlike the headmaster, Ruben is not really one to be secretive. He is very protective of his students.
History: In his younger years, Ruben had been an official Holy Knight with a religious organization to battle curses and strange occurrences possibly caused by demons. While on a mission, believing Armand to be a demon, Ruben immersed Armand in holy water making Armand go “…” Unlikely enemies turned allies.
Afterwards, Ruben retired, and Armand sought him out, offering him a position at Nexus and leading him to believe that they could rid the land of demons and evil spirits. Of course, Ruben doesn’t realize the full of the situation.
Other: Ruben has a son named Elran that will be attending the school at some point. Ruben also has a fetish for large weapons. Student Will Descythe Name: Will Descythe Year: 4th Gender: Male Age:17 Affinity: Dark Fighting Arts Class: Fencing Appearance: Blonde hair, emeraldy/ very green eyes. His hair is loose and kempt. His eyes usually sparkle with playfulness. He appears quite playful. He can appear innocent or mean, depending on what sort of outlook he wants. Usually, he appears lighthearted. He decided that appearing mean was only something he wanted to do to keep others away or hide secrets. Will’s body is well toned in muscle. His skin is pale and delicate. If he dyed his hair a dark color, his skin would appear ghostly pale. When Will smiles innocently/sweetly, it is a very welcoming smile that many find quite friendly. He stands at 5'8''. Personality: Mischievous. Enough said. Outgoing and spontaneous at times, he condones peasants, but actually does not. Will loves to prank others and cause strife. The fact is that he is slightly sadistic and masochist to some extent if he feels the need to be. Although straight, Will does not mind fooling others into believing otherwise. It’s all a game to him, and he’s quite an actor. One could call him a “lady’s man” as well. History: Will comes from a wealthy upper middle class family. His father is a successful merchant, who opened up his own trading company, first based on weapon making then expanding into more merchandise and goods. The company flourishes now. Will is the second born son. The first born son(Kent, a wonderful fencer) was killed in a war, and the second born daughter(Selis) is a well known musician. Music runs in the family and although, Will despises music, he finds that he enjoys playing an instrument by himself alone. Of the three children, Will was given the least attention because of his successful siblings. His parents pampered him at times, but not enough for him. He thus resorted to pranks to get attention and to amuse himself. Once, he even managed to dress up as his sister and pose at her, completely embarrassing her at a concert. She was part of a concert and before her performance, Will ran up to the stage and … acted strangely, completely bewildering the audience. Selis had to come out, drag him off the stage, then apologize before beginning her performance. Will began fencing and learning martial arts after his brother’s death, realizing that he had to be able to defend himself. As of now, his fencing skills are better than his martial arts, though it would be more convenient for the latter to be better since he easily picks fights. …or so he says his history is so.  Talon StarDrifter Name: Faraday Rahl Position: Assistant Headmistress Gender: Female Age: 29 Race: Elf Abilities/Affinity/Skill: Fire is Faraday's specialty. She can summon it at will and direct it to her every whim. Sometimes the fire becomes blue, thus releasing its full potential. But the blue flames are difficult to conjure, and regular fire has always served Faraday well, so she rarely uses her blue fire, though she uses it to intimidate Armand every once in a while. However, she can still create heat without the presence of fire, though suppressing the fire's presence drains her strength quickly. Other than that, Faraday can use a sword moderately well, as well as a bow and arrows, though she is an epic failure with any other weapon. Appearance: Faraday is a bespectacled woman who stands at five feet and five inches tall. Her long hair reaches her thighs, and is several shades of brown. Because Faraday's long hair tends to be a nuisance in a prank school, she always keeps it back in a braid or something of the sort. However, long bangs mysteriously escape their bindings and frame her tanned face and piercing blue eyes. Due to Faraday's position in the school, she doesn't have much time to consider her appearance. Hence, her nails are usually different lengths, and her clothes sometimes mismatched. Sometimes she'll be wearing things backwards, though if she realizes it she doesn't become very distressed. Being around Armand generally creates stress, so it must come to no surprise that Faraday is rather thin, and sometimes sickly so. However, due to her elf blood, her skin remains perpetually tanned, no matter how long she is absent in the sun's presence. Personality: Generally, Faraday always looks harassed or flustered, mostly because her boss is Armand Orion Parr. However, when she isn't running around doing random projects, she is cackling alongside Armand, plotting a prank for their next victims. Nowadays, however, she doesn't have much time to do such things. With pranks getting out of hand, and new students arriving, Faraday is lacking sleep and as such is becoming irritable and cranky. But she's never anything but respectful or playful toward Armand; sure, she'll threaten him with a bit of fire every once in a while to get him on track, but he knows her well enough to know those are all empty threats. She is very courteous to new students or staff or visitors, until a prank forms in her brain. Then it doesn't matter who you are; if she feels like playing a prank to relieve some stress, she'll do it. But in general, it takes a bit to push Faraday into the dangerous grounds of anger, nor is she too sensitive; after all, living a life of pranks toughens one up. History: Faraday was brought up in a lively household, with many young children milling about and playing. Not all were relatives, and as such, the outsiders would bring other customs to Faraday's family's children, including pranks. From a young age, Faraday was a victim to many childish pranks, and was often the instigator of them. Sometimes she'd be rubbing her hands together in an evil fashion, and yet at other times she'd be crying to get the attention of someone to comfort her after she fell victim to a harmless prank. In all, Faraday was a devious little child, though as an elf, that was to be expected. As she grew, there were whispered rumors of a school for pranks, though Faraday dismissed it as fool's talk. She had more important things to worry about, like who would empty out the chamber pots or who would provide food for the younger ones. But finally, as an adult of twenty or so years, she was recruited as Armand as an assistant, though she quickly became his assistant head mistress. Mostly because sometimes Armand needed someone to do his job for him, but also because she was extremely helpful in organizing and planning. At the school, Faraday learned the basics of swordsmanship and archery, though her pyric abilities are all self-taught through experimenting and observing. Other: Faraday has certain fetishes; she likes to bite things, but usually refrains from doing so because she has been told that this particular quirk is extremely weird. Abilities/Affinity/Skill: In terms of magic, Aria has knowledge relating to both shadow and wind magic, though the dark magic is her stronger suit. She is strictly known for her skills in magic and far less in her physical fighting capabilities. However, she is quite capable of holding her own against some more novice fighters for several minutes without using her magic. She can configure the bones of her right hand to make her hand and nails strong enough to pierce flesh on their own (she can pull out an opponents beating heart without spilling a drop of their blood, if she so chooses). She has the ability to blend into shadows and even travel short distances by using shadows (as long as she knows where she wants to end up).

Clothing style/preference: See the picture. Normally darker colors, but there are the extremely rare occasions where she will wear something brighter in color. She doesn't really like to dress in formal wear so she's usually seen in rather plain clothing.
Body type: average build, yet can be looked upon as beautiful even though she doesn't like to think of herself as such.
Personality:Generally very cold-hearted, but she is kind even if she doesn't show it all too often. She tends to hide her true emotions behind a mask of emotionlessness.
History: Aria comes from a rather large family of demons and is the only daughter. She is the youngest of five children who ran away from home. Aria generally prefers to keep her past history from coming out into the open because she doesn't like to relive it. However, she is one of the few people on staff who knows Armand is in fact a demon given that she is also a demon. Aria was the one who came across Armand actually. She came to him seeking a place to stay and hopefully keep away from her family and brothers. Hopefully, Armand hasn't figured out that that was the real reason she is at the Academy.
Other: Aria's brother's are searching for her to bring her home. Though, Aria has no intention of ever telling anyone that they are. Armand may or may not know, but Aria doesn't seem to care if he does indeed find out. She just has no intention of telling anyone the reason as so to why.

Position: Long range specialist, history + mythology teacher

Race: Angle elf
Abilities/Affinity/Skill: Very basic air magic. Lise is now a long range weapon specialist in more specifically glaive/spear and bows. She is particularly good at aiming long distance, not short. She fails even worse than Armand at swords work, but random flailing works sometimes!
Appearance: Lise Lise has blonde hair and green eyes with a slender body at 5'6''. Her braided hair falls down to her upper thighs. Her clothes are usually a short skirt for mobility with white leggings. The top is a loose fitting shirt held by a tied corset and her feet don boots. It's basically the same as the picture.
Personality: She is a kind person, caring and loving. She has a benevolent heart, helping those in need and doesn't really like the whole tomfoolery that the school is. She doesn't usually prank anyone and just sighs at all the pranks.
History: Lise was happy and free as a noble child, living next to Armand's place, where they hung out often... with Armand pranking her many times, and her smacking him with any available object that she could find when she could. Upon coming of age, independent Lise left her parents to explore the world, meeting up with Armand in the process during her journey. How did Lise end up in the Academy? She was conned into it by Armand, combined with her worry of his intentions.
Other: Not really? She's fully aware of her lineage and really thinks that Armand is going about the wrong way with his attitude on the secret..aka... he should be more serious, and his logic is faulty.

Position: Doctor and Herbalism teacher

Abilities/Affinity/Skill: Though technically not a doctor, Maelle is just as skilled at healing as any man or woman that has a certificate flaunt. She knows all the medicinal herbs, and can perform any surgery without even having the proper tools. Her natural affinity is with water, but because of her profession, she forced herself to master light magic. Because she mainly focused on light magic through out her life, both healing and non-healing types, her water magic has yet to reach its full potential.
Appearance: Maelle stands at an average height of 5’7”, with a thin build. From the way she dresses herself up, she’s rather delicate looking, though she is anything but. Her eyes are a grayish green, and her hair is a yellow with platinum highlights. Her hair naturally falls into loose ringlets, which she usually pins up and decorates with a hairpiece or flowers, gems, and pearls, if she’s not wearing a hat. After her travels, she readopted the formal style of dress her parents forced on her. However, when working, she has decided to dress slightly less formally slightly less formally.
Personality: The foremost trait one will notice about Maelle is that she’s appears to be very absent-minded. While she truly does zone out at times, she often times chooses to ignore things, simply not to start conflict. She acts very proper( though anyone whose been around her for long knows that she can be less-than-such at the times and places she deems appropriate) from her dress to her mannerism, but also childlike. She’s normally upbeat and talkative, but her moods easily change. But though her moods swings are near constant, she quickly recovers. In general, she can bounce back from things very quickly. Most of the time when she’s distraught, she quiets down, but if she’s pushed, she has a very violent temper.
History: Maelle came from a well-to-do family, that recognized her intelligence high hopes for her future. They expected her to finish her education with good merits, and then use her smarts to land herself a wealthy husband. So of course, Maelle dropped out of school and refused to marry, being that at the time, she had yet to adopt any sort of manners.
So when Maelle announced that she wanted to start traveling in order to learn the secrets of medicine, her parents were happy to send her off with a fair amount of money, so that they’d have room for another child. Maybe one hat would listen and get married to rich man.
By the time Maelle met Armand, she had already learned the basics of medicine. She found him to be an interesting man, so she nominated herself to join him in his travels, insisting she’d be useful to have around if he, for instance, broke an arm, which would be very likely if he didn’t let her tag along.
After she learned all she needed, as well as a few manners, they parted ways. Maelle believed she likely would never hear from Armand again, only to receive a letter from him a short while later, in which he asked her to teach at his school. Being that no one seemed to want to hire a doctor that technically didn’t have proper schooling, she agreed.
Other: Maelle hasn’t spoken to her parents since she set out on her journey, and desperately wants to visit them and apologize, but since they moved quite some time ago, she can’t locate them, and instead has to live with guilt.

Looks mid-30s Race: Fallen Angel Abilities/Affinity/Skill:--Major healing powers – Can restore damaged organs, repair bones and heal most wounds. This is done by taking the damage into his own body. --Strong regeneration – Includes death but can only be his own and it takes a long time. Feels all the pain of death and injuries. --Can change probabilities to more favourable outcomes Affinity to light/mana Appearance: Riulis has natural silver hair that reaches just past his waist. It is usually pleated for practicability. Vibrant emerald green eyes watch from behind a pair of sleek glasses which he wears for appearances. He wears a stylish gray suit over a slim 5'10" frame but doesn't were a tie with his shirt. A lab coat is usually worn over the top of the suit. Personality: Calm, collected and easy to dupe. His naive nature usually lets people take advantage of him however no harm ever seems to come of this. His ability to see probabilities causes him to stop constantly and ponder over various things such as "The chances of that sword on the wall falling and impaling someone." History: A former angel assistant to a god in a pantheon of nine, he was banished to earth for "Playing around with life and fate without permission" as they put it. He had, inadvertently, saved a failing experiment that had been trying to create the perfect weapon in the form of a person. Through this "weapon" there ensued a major war in which millions died. Now as a god with the body of a human he set out trying to right all that he had done by giving their "weapon" the choice to fight or not. He found X-13 hurtling towards his death on a suicide mission and managed to stop him just in time. X-13 now following him he continued to travel in order to achieve his original goal. However X-13 was slowly losing his grip on his already random powers. After X-13's spatial powers went out of control, the pair were pulled through a wormhole they emerged near the castle that is Nexus Academy. Checking the probabilities, the only safe option was to appeal to the owner of the school for either, shelter or transport. Finding out that it was a school for magic from Armand, Riulis wanted X-13 to enrol in order to gain control over his powers. A little human interaction couldn't hurt either.  Vampress_Assassin Name: Tekachi Mekinowa Year: 1st year ((appropriate since I am new)) Gender: Female Age: 15 Affinity: Skill Fighting Arts Class:Martial arts w/ sword Appearance:Tekachi is an average height of 5'6 with violet-blue eyes and long curly waist length black hair. Her weight is of a healthy 130 lbs. Her clothes of choice are usually black satin jeans with a violet skirt over them, a black satin long sleeve shirt with a violet vest over it. She wears her hair down except with participation in physical sports, due to the thickness of her hair it gets in her way when doing tasks such as fighting, for that reason she always has a handy purple scrunchy in her pocket. Personality: Brought up to be honest at all times, Takachi is quite gullible and innocent. Treated cruely at her old school, she often reaches out in kindness towards others and never knows what to say when made the butt of a joke. As a result she always laughs with the others even if they make fun of her for laughing. Shy and awkward Takachi is uncertain how to behave towards others of her own age, getting along better with those of a younger or older nature than herself. She spends most of her time reading or exploring, often times returning to a favorite spot recently discovered or long time enjoyed. History: Tekachi found social life very difficult and therefor kept to herself often. One day she found out her favorite doctor taught a martial arts class, the arts were nameless but included a sword. She excelled in the class do to the pleasure she found in the simple but complicated forms. She advanced quickly and was soon respected by many others in the class for her dedication. Though she never knew of it or the fact that she inspired others to try harder and study more. Then one day, she found a letter inviting her to the academy, she had never checked into it but new it was the coveted school of many of her class mates, both in school and in martial arts. Her martial arts teacher advised her to accept the invitation, claiming it will be a learning experience she couldn't pass up. A few monthes later, she arrived. Other: Tekachi is an orphan and knows nothing of her heritage or where she comes from, just that she has a large sum of money left by her parents in the kings treasury that she has access to only to buy clothes until the day she turns 20. She knows her parents died in some sort of town raid. What she doesn't know, but will find out much later due to some accident, is that the target was her, for she has demon blood and can weild light. The king is her uncle is why he was willling to hold her money for them. Then she received her first letter to join the School of Pranks. However because of one of the pranks going on at the time, she was unable to actually find and enter the school. Believing that she had been put on by someone in her class she returned to her normal school. As the rest of her time in that school wore on she began to think about and then later create small pranks on her fellow students and later the teachers and administrators of her school. When she finally got her High School degree she received a second letter from the school of pranks. This time she is determined to find the school and enroll their to help "liven up" the atmosphere there. Fighting Arts Class: Capoeira Appearance: Mikaeli (Mika) BluceroMika is of average height, about 5'7", and has a toned, curvaceous build that continuously causes staring from her peers. Her skin is dark, a true exotic beauty as her lineage had began in an extraneous and colorful region of the world. As for her hair, it is short and edgy, the color of starlight even in the bright morning sun. With dark, tan lips that seem to almost always be turned up in a smile and soft blue eyes that contrast greatly with the color of her skin, it is no wonder that her parents had graced her with the best of traits. Mika's body is a power house of strength and flexibility due to her mastery of capoeira. Her arms are toned with muscle, as well as her strong legs and stomach. When fighting, Mika usually dresses scantily, clad in simple cloth apparel that holds in what need be, and gives her complete freedom of movement. Along with colorful matching bracelets, armlets, anklets and necklace, that add a dash of color to her quick, whirling movements. Mika's casual attire is obviously much different. Depending on the day, Mika can be seen in jeans and a cute top, or maybe even a dress. Though, like other students, she has those days where t-shirts and jeans is the best way to go. Mika is hardly seen in dark or neutral colors, for blues, reds, yellows, and greens accent her complexion much more suitably, which also explains her choice of nail polish, which is a nice, bright blue. Personality: As a fourth year student, Mika has already been put through treacherous pranks and other weird occurrences at the school, so her confused outlook in her previous years has turned into curiosity. Her light-hearted mannerisms help her greatly in such a strange school, and even though she finds herself being pranked, she often simply laughs it off. Mika's inhabitance at the school has also created a mischievous side to her, and once in a while she pulls off her own little pranks, more often on teachers than students. Mika has a great sense of humor and is quite kind, even to the first year students; remembering how she once stood in their place three years ago. Coming from a family who is quite outspoken, like her appearance, Mika has obtained that trait as well, though she usually doesn't have many bad things to say. Of course, there are times when her fiery side emerges, especially when she's fighting, though, even then, her fighting style is much more concentrated in defense. History: Mika was born into a very loving family. Her parents were from a native land, and had moved just after they were married. Once Mikaeli was born, they raised her as any loving parents would, though her mother wanted to have her completely assimilated with the new culture, while her father wanted the complete opposite. So, as she grew, her father would secretly teach her their native language, which was similar to Earth's Portuguese, and also the art of Capoeira. He would always tell Mika how his ancestors were some of the slaves who had created the style; how it was a mixture of dance and fighting, how the movements were smooth and fast, so much so, that it was largely misunderstood as a mostly defensive art, yet the quickness of the kicks and spins built up powerful momentum. Mika soon learned Capoeira quite well, which is what she expects is the reason why she had received an invitation to the prestigious Nexus Academy. Her academic skills were average, and the only other reason she could think of was her fluency in her language or her musical inclination with the flute; but she knew neither of those things were as substantial as her skill in Capoeira. The only thing was, she had never performed in public or any other setting than her home. Of course, there was no way she could let the chance fly by, so she quickly accepted the school's offer and packed up. Other: There is a chance that Mika may have an elven heritage. History: [Borouk was formerly working with his parents in a bakery that they themselves built and ran. Everything was normal, it was just any other day when Borouk received the letter. Borouk had never even considered a higher education aside from the little school house in their village. It had taken Borouk several days to come to the conclusion that he wanted to attend. He wasn‘t a fool to begin with, but getting smarter likely would not hurt him as of yet.
His first year had gone well, and thus Borouk is ready for the second. He is quite familiar already with the antics of Headmaster Armand, and he himself has worked hard to be able to prank some of the greats within the school.]

Fighting Arts Class: Unarmed combat and blades skills. Appearance: He is growing his short brown hair longer in hope to cover his silver right eye and an orange left eye. He stands about 5" 8 and usually wears practical clothing in blacks and other neutral colours. He has a series of scars running down his back. Personality: Straight to the point and won't notice or care if it's seen as cruel. A blank look gives away his "I-don't-give-a-s***" attitude. Until he sees proof of them as warriors, he will probably just see them as a fuzzy image. He knows nothing of subtlety. At all. History: A genetic experiment that was to be the perfect soldier. An amalgamation of alien and human DNA to utilize the best of both and who's sole purpose was to obey any order from the creators. The experiment was doomed to fail from the start, however intervention from Riulis caused favourable results and the creation of X-13. Immediately put into the training program he showed great promise and the ability to understand situations. In less than a year from creation, he was sent out into a rapidly escalating war, where he showed the first signs of his alien half. An outburst of condensed spatial irregularity. A dangerous power. A black hole. After two months of fighting he was ordered to attack the enemy base with the biggest black hole he could manage, despite them badly damaging him each time. On the way to the base he was met by Riulis who risked his fate on giving X-13 coherent thought and the power to make his own choices. In return he began following Riulis in hope that he could teach him more about the world outside war and suffering wanting to know more of his heritage. Over the past month he has slowly been losing control of his powers resulting in the chance warp to the school. Thinking it an excellent learning experience, He asked Riulis to let him enroll, and eventually got his way. Other: Has above average reflexes.
