Because she may be spying on you, watching your every moves.Short History: Lucine is a hybrid of a wolf and a dog. Though her wolf appearance stands out more, her dog personality is more stronger. Lucine has suffered the famine over and over again and had to deal with hunters. Thus her trust lacked for anything new with a pulse. Kona watched two dogs in front of her. "I know where we can go", she said, "hope you mutts can keep up". Her voice was short, the bit of malice blooming toward Scat was still quite apparent. With that she turned her tail and took off.
Scat was quick behind her. "Hey! HEY!!" He was surprised how fast she was. He was a shepherd and couldn't quite catch the mottled Collie mutt. He picked up his pace, and a few blocks later, finally caught up. He reached out and nipped her tail. She yelped and spun around, stopping.
"What the hell was that for?!" she spat. "If those dogs can prove they could keep up, I'd know we...I could trust them. You can't just take in every sick and stupid mutt around you Scat! That's how we all end up dead!"
Scat stood listening, dumfounded. "Kona. If you want to be a part of this pack, maybe you should start considering the feelings of others. It's together that we eek out a living in this city. Or did you forget our recent get-away?" The shepherd sat and turned his back to the collie. "You can do whatever you want, Kona. Its your choice whether you ever want to have a friend in this city."
