So it's New Years, and I figured I'd pop in to see if Gaia was doing any sort of holiday give-away or the like.

And all I get is a bunch of announcements for LIMITED OFFERS AT THE GAIA CASH SHOP OMG.

God dammit Gaia, just start charging for subscriptions if this is the s**t you've got to do to turn a profit.

Considering how much ad money Gaia must get for pimping movies and cable TV shows, I'm really shocked that they need any extra revenue. But that bandwidth does cost some big bucks, I guess. And new servers every couple of months.

The nice thing is that one does not have to buy the Cash items to have a good time in Gaia. It's still the same old cesspool of intellectual stagnation it always has been.
