Residing on the top floor, Jule's flat is thus far the only one not to have its windows broken out or its contents ransacked by vandals. The coppery scent of blood lingers on the air.

*Scowls* Look, mate, you've got to put them away for a bit. There's got to be a way to track them, yeah? It'll lead 'em right to you, and you'll be a dead man walking if Avery gets ahold of 'em again, they'll turn on you, you know they will.

No, no way to track them. *Speaks musingly* Not when Pyrate hasn't touched them in so long.. And they have my blood all over them, that's a type of binding magic not so easily thrown off.

Thin sheets of sun-yellowed newspaper fluttered free of the coffee table as Jule materialized in his flat, the massive bulk of Vith smashing the lamp with his subsequent appearance. Immediately the wizard yanked his arm, uncaring of the wet drag of additional tearing across his flesh; his boot connected squarely with Vith’s hip. “Release me, ********>

Vith snarled, but stumbled back, nearly toppling through the couch before he got his footing. His tongue tore Jule's arm further, but it slithered away, disappearing into the darkness of his helmet.

Rage flitted across Jule’s features, a scowl twisting his mouth as he settled on his feet again, blood flooding the thoroughly gaping wound and pattering on the battered floorboards. He cursed again, grasping his wand and attempting to lessen the bloodloss; black wire spun itself through the tear, stitching through flesh and drawing the skin together haphazardly. Entirely healed, the sacrifice Jule had made of the wound would be made null, so he left it at that, pain searing up the length of his arm and his fingers limp and numb. It could heal on its own over time.
“How?” he snarled, rounding on Vith as though the beast was smaller than himself. “How could he have…?”

Vith cowered back, lowering his massive helmet as he half crouched near the floor, spear held loosely in his hands as he began to whine a low guttural sound of pain.
