Hey. So ya, first. Cosplaying as a Na'vi. :'D 100 something K spent on it, what do you think. Saturn wants me to enter the avi arena, I just don't know what to put for the description... I wish they had a better tail then this but this was the best I could come up with... ; n ;
Anywho. Levi, my boyfriend ( heart ), thinks that since I can't find a job (boo to no working experience ; n ; thanks mom and dad), he thinks I should volunteer someplace. I just don't know where. ; n ;
Also, I got a C in my history, I seriously thought I failed it again. ; u ; I'm so happy! 5 more classes and then I can transfer! If I don't get accepted though, I'm callin' it quits for a while and finding a job and paying off my debt and moving out. :<
So ya. Discuss: How AWESOME Avatar was lulz (but no spoilers cuz I know some people haven't seen it yet). What kind of volunteer work would be good to do. Have you done volunteer work before? Classes you thought you failed but actually passed! ; u ; yay~! And how to get rid of migraines... ; n ; 3

I love the avatar (lol) :O Sweet cosplay, I think you should enter with it. I haven't seen the movie yet myself...
I volunteered at Habitat for Humanity a few years ago... Not a bad experience... Just don't dry wall for two days in a row. Gah x.x A lot of people I know volunteer to tutor, I think that's a good thing to do. It's not too much work, and it can be fun.
If I get a migraine I just sleep it off >.<

try looking at your college's website, and see if they offer jobs for students! its what I do. I'm a teacher's aide. but you could be a tutor or something, and earn cash. <3

Go for it. It looks amazing. Perhaps look up trailer info on them and then send it in?

i was rather confused when my dad said he wanted to go see it, because a) we don't have TV, so i haven't seen commercials, and b) i hang around anime forums where Avatar: The Last Airbender is very popular, so i was thinking of the movie said to be coming out. obviously, i quickly clued into the fact it was not related to AtLA at all xd it was a rather good movie, though since i went to see it in 3D, my eyes were bothering me by the end because certain scenes confused my vision, not to mention the stupid glasses rested funny on my ears, so i had to keep adjusting them. my poor brother wasn't pleased either since 3D movies give him headaches for the same reason (less pleased to find out the new Alice in Wonderland movie is also going to be in 3D).
anyway, great cosplay! 3nodding though i would have thought the hair was darker, but whatever. i would say go for it! it's something new and a change from the usual anime, video game and Michael Jackson cosplays, and pretty creative.
i volunteer at my mom's charity, doing random grunt work because i can't find a job either >.< mostly what i do is office stuff like filing, entering stuff into a database, and whatnot, but during the Christmas program i was running around carrying presents, sorting them, doing coffee runs...wrapping things, whatever they could find for me to do. i've been trying to volunteer at the local library since it's what i want to go to for school, but i haven't had much luck.

Avatar was an AWESOME movie! Not like "OMG I just saw it but I'm going to see it again tomorrow and the next and the next!" <-- this was my mother lol
While my sister Jessica and her hun went to see "Up in the Air", I myself, Toboe, koopabrat, and bro-in-law went and saw it in 3D. Would of seen it 2D but they sold out of the show we wanted to see, and Jessica gets very bad headachs from watching 3D ((I do too, but I can handle them better, she gets migrains super easy)). Still, it was a very kickass movie! So happy I saw it in theaters! ((it was voted one of the must see in theater movies of 2009)).
I would of gone a little darker with the hair as well, but I know there isn't a darker color of that hair, and because it's Gaia we can only do so much to get them perfect. It looks totally amazing to me, and you very much should enter it in the arena!
Well, when I did work for the Salvation Army ((it's done now ;-; )) I thought it was origionally volunteer work. I would say go check them out, they are always needing help, as well as they might have a job opening available 3nodding

*pats Saturn* There there, the point of my avi is that people would like it. smile And you liked it so thankies for that.
And thanks guys for likin' my avi. That really made me smile. And thanks for all the helpful tips!
Things for me are really hard right now, and I'm hoping that if I take all online classes, it will give me a completely open schedule so I can try to find a job and be able to come in whenever. *sighs* I hope this works... and I gotta figure out how the bus system works cuz I think I have a free bus pass with my student card. :3 Sweet deal no?
On the topic of 3D movies: I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to see Avatar in 3D. BUT!!! They always make me really sick... 3D movies that is. I can't stand them. ; n ; Plus glasses... on top of my glasses.... I don't know how that would work out. :/
