I had a great Christmas! I decorated the tree all pretty and even added a new ornament this year: an owl. I arranged all the presetns under the tree and got some great gifts: Two snazzy hats and a nice vest, as well as a model to build. I said "Meeeeeerrrry Christmas!" like Lery Jenkins would. A lot.
I ate Lunch on Christmas Day in a Chinese Restaraunt and asked for hats on my gift list for Kisui Rosh, covering the head religiously.

I'm glad you had a nice Christmas, Lummany. Even though I plan on being a religious Jew one day, I will miss all the trimmings that come with Christmas. There's nothing better than lit houses and a ginormous tree.
I got a Kitchenaide standmixer. I'm pumped!

I obtained a top hat, a book, some underwear and a coat, and gave away a spice rack, a CD, about a kilogram of expensive choclits, a teatowel, some lego, many free pieces of my art (whether portraits of the person or otherwise) which isn't advertising at all and 3 books. How exciting!

I mostly work with large chalk pieces, which are incredibly difficult to store (but the smaller ones compromise on detail!) and photograph, or I do sketch portraits occaisonally for a few quick pounds. The majority of my recent work is surreal photography, which is a surprisingly easy artform. Recently I've been thinking of stretching into Pre-Raphaelite stylings, maybe spark an anachronisation of art? I'm doing a few Beatles-inspired pieces at the moment for a fan of theirs. Maybe, once I'm done, I'll cheekily photograph it and send you a copy?

Please do. And by large pieces of chalk, do you mean like sidewalk chalk? That seems like it be a very tricky medium.

kingpinsqeezels Please do. And by large pieces of chalk, do you mean like sidewalk chalk? That seems like it be a very tricky medium. I mean the stuff your teacher used in first grade. I love it! The texture is poor, and the detail is lacking, but you make up for it with the simplicity of it, and the beautiful results. I just love being able to use my hands as well as the chalk to create pieces, blending different shaded chalks together and such. Nothing captures light like chalk. The Impressionists had it all wrong with their painting.
