What's it like? I'm coming from MCJROTC and we do a lot of stuff like PT, uniform inspections, drill, etc... I'm moving to a town that has AJROTC instead of MCJROTC and I want to see what it's like before I make that switch.....

I can answer any questions as far AJROTC goes. I am a c/ Major and I am a Company Commander as well as our Raider team commander and drill team Co-commander.
Although each AJROTC, or any JROTC, do have there own way of promoting there cadets, naming the ribbons, and what rank goes for a position ('cept for the ranks like Command Sgt Major and 1st Sgt), and other things, they are pretty much the same as far as the drill (D&C, Drill and Ceremony) and PT goes, as well as the general Army knowledge you will need to know. i.e. Chain of Command, Ranks, Uniform Questions, and Drill questions.
