The entrance to A-9 is a plateau in the Splitters. The ground in the center looks nondescript, but if you know the codeword the ground will open up for you, allowing access to the underground facility. The strictest rule in the KotP regards this area: never enter while being followed. Ever. It is the first defense against invasion.
