we are also getting the turkey ready for the deep fryer, its going to taste soooo good ^.^
i also got the fiance's gift the other day, yes, it took me this long to figure out what to get him. he enjoys taking pictures so i got him an electronic picture frame. its one of the cheaper ones cause thats all i can afford and i know he wont ever use it but it was all i could think of since he hates gift cards. i always get people gift cards because i suck at choosing gifts for people

Merry Christmas! And Happy other holidays!
My mom is just giving me $50 this year because she just had surgery and she's too tired to go shopping and we don't have a lot of money. So my brother will have gifts under the tree but I won't =( Oh wells. I got her a pink mp3 player (her favorite color. I'm gonna load it with a bunch of 80's rock and hair metal) and a mug set with flavoring for coffee because she loves coffee. My brother is just getting $10 because I know he'll enjoy it.
I got my boyfriend a gamestop gift card because he has over 200 video games, so I'd probably never be able to pick one out that he doesn't already have. I'm also getting him a Tool t-shirt, because everytime we go to the mall he says "I always want this shirt but I never feel like buying it." There was something else I wanted to get him, but I don't remember. He ordered me Harry Potter stuff off of the WB website =3
That's all for what I got people because I can't afford anyone else. My best friend's birthday is in Jan anyway, so she's getting a combination christmas/birthday gift.
I took pictures of Koga helping me wrap gifts, but then my camera batteries died while the pictures were saving sad

Ben and I went up to my mother's house. No one had any money for presents because I lost my job about 5 months ago and my step dad was injured and so is out of work.
But we enjoyed just being together. And I got to play with all her five thousand critters. She has 6 dogs, an unknown number of cats (all but one were fixed before Carl got hurt), two ducks, a rooster, her pony, and my brother's snake.
I also got to see my differently able kitty, Flame. Last time I went up there he ran from me, I thought he had forgotten me but this time he recognized me. I think he remembered me once I called him by his proper name, I am the only one who does that. Mom always calls him Crippie.
I wish I could bring him home but he is better off on the farm. He loves to be outdoors, you can't keep him in and he won't use a litter box anyway. Mom has two acres of land for him to roam and he never goes to far from the house. I think the hills are probably hard for him to manage.
I live in a trailer park and the kids here are monsters. They don't pay any attention to Baby or Kimiko, but Flame stands out in a crowd so I can't bring him here. I know the kids would go after him.
What is different about him is a birth defect. His back legs have extra bones in them and his hips never developed properly so his backside is all twisted up and about useless. I noticed it first when he was just a couple of days old but mom said he was just club footed and would grow out of it. but as he got bigger the deformity became more obvious.
When he was about 3 weeks old and still not wobbling about like a normal kitten I started looking for a wheel chair type thing but he figured out how to walk before I could find one I liked. He learned to balance his useless backside above his head and walk on his front legs.
He has learned to use his back legs a little. But still walks on his front legs when he is in a hurry. And you wouldn't believe how fast that little booger is either! He can run as fast on his two front legs as most four legged cats. He can climb up things to though he needs a little help getting down from anywhere to high. If it is less than three feet up he'll just jump and land on his butt, I've seen him do it when I haven't moved fast enough to help him down.
The only thing he can't do is jump up. I don't know if he knows he is different or not. I am sure he does but he sure as hell doesn't act like it.
And we walked Toto when being in the house got to hectic and chaotic for Ben. He was actually very good on the walk. A couple of the neighbors dogs came along too. Without leashes, people just let their dogs run wild up there. One of them was the dog next door, the other was a goldy from down the road who comes to visit.
The only one we were told to watch out for was the bull dog, Scoopy. He is allowed to run lose as well and has been known to attack people, including my mom. He tore her leg all up a couple of years ago and the owner still won't chain him or keep him in. His owner has been warned that Scoopy will be shot if he comes on mom's land again but so far he hasn't
All and all it was a nice visit. Except for getting attacked by her rooster. Roosters are a** holes!
