__________

The Crystals of Hope are massive crystals (Around two-hundred feet in height.) that were found when the refugees of Kumo took shelter in the caves. As a symbol of Kumo, the Juugodaime Raikage spent the first few weeks carving a structure with his Kesshouton (Plasma-Release). This was to symbolize the beauty of hope and the prosperity that is planned for the village.

Being in view in almost all parts of the village, the structure is a constant reminder for the people to never give in~

The famous Fireside chats of the Juugodaime Raikage are held here.

It took some time, but he finally got down to the Crystals. He liked it here, it was great to just look upon the crystals up close. Akati actually had a large shard of the crystals left over after the Raikage had carved them, it thought it would make a nice weapon. He collected it during his short time in the academy, exploring the village. But he decided to keep it as just a ornament for display. He walked about for a bit, until he strangely saw an ANBU and Jounin talking out in the open about something. He ran up to them quickly, the ANBU noticed him straight away and threw a shuriken at his feet. Akati stopped instantly.
"Stop boy! What do you want?" The ANBU did not at all sound natural, it was like he was some alien being.
"I need a sensei! I need to learn new techniques right away! Teach me something!" he was all red in the face, shouting quite loudly, making a lot of people look at him.
"Enough! It was now the Jounin speaking"The Raikage will sort that out, be patient! But if you really want to learn something, try to climb up a rock face with just your feet! To do so place chakra into your feet! I will let you figure out the rest!" The ANBU and Jounin suddenly disappeared in a cloud of smoke.

Akati was now walking around aimlessly, thinking over what the ANBU said '...Place chakra into your feet...' How do I do that? He sat down and thought it over for a while.

Akati after a a long time of thinking, in which in the end all he could remember about chakra in feet was for running on water, which was chakra being pushed out. He knew pushing chakra would with be a bad idea when trying to go up a wall with just your feet. He thought it was best that he should get some food. He made his way to the famous Cooking-nin house, where they always had the best food in the Land of Lightning. He bought the best dish, for he had the money from out of no where. He figured the family he might of had was very rich, but, no one knew who is was. As he ate the large bowl of ramen, he kind of played with it a bit now and then. A piece of kamaboko decided to stick to the side and wouldn't budge after a little prod. Akati then came to a conclusion without even knowing how.
"Make chakra sticky!" He didn't say it loudly, it was just a forceful whisper. But then he wondered how he would make chakra sticky, he was now confused.

He finished up and went for a walk, towards the bridge.

"Ah! The crystals! So beautiful!" He always loved looking at Satsuki's beautiful work, he admired the man greatly, and hopefully he would get well one day. I have been meaning to hold a fireside chat in his honor.
"So, I have decided to give you 50 ryo, to buy clothes, food, what ever you please!" He then gave the boy a bag of money. It should be enough to get the boy started in this village.

"Thank you Raikage-sama! After I buy stuff, what should I do? I want to help where ever I can." he thought of stuff he could buy... maybe some more clothes, maybe a bit warmer clothes... and food, oh he hadn't had very good food for a while now... he thought for a moment before turning to the kage, "Raikage-sama, do... do you know if my parents were from here? The Yamamoto clan? As... far as I know it was just me and my parents."

"Ya-ma-mo-to...?" Yuudai sounded it out to himself, thinking if he ever knew of anyone by that name. But his mind was blank. But then a question did spark up.
"You were orphaned, when? Four years ago? A village was almost destroyed, but I save it bout four years ago." He body language and eyes changed in a more dark and gloomy way, as if it was a memory best left forgotten.
"Your parents, may be dead. Not many of that village survived. None came here." He didn't want to give the kid false hope, that was not his style. What he thought was the most likely scenario would be the best for now.
"Now, after you have bought your stuff, you will stay in the Raikage Mansion, there is many guest rooms. It will do until we figure something out for you." His smile barely returned, but it was there. He never liked being sad.

"I see..." he frowned a bit, "I always knew that was a possibility though." he smiled back at the man, "Thank you. I'll have someone point me the way when I'm done." He bowed again before trotting off into a nearby clothes store.

Mazu looks around for a while and finds some more pants and vests which suit his style, dark and earthy in color. He manages to find a black one with some beautiful designs on it of blue and cyan flowers. Sure it looked a little feminine, but why should he care? No one here knows him after all. He went down the street and bought two kimonos. One was plain and black, and came with a montsuki and a hakama. He wasn't sure what to do for the family crest so he left it off. He bought another one which was also similar to his vest, dark black but with some flowery blue designs with blue trim. He bought a bag to put it all in and went off to go eat at a nearby ramen shop.

[[He buys two changes of basic clothes, similar in style to what he has now, and two sets of formal clothes, and and he eats at a ramen house, before seeking directions to the estate]]

[[ Successes: 0/5]]

Mazu explored the market a bit more. Hoping to become familiar with the village, but as he walked around the market... he quickly realized that he had become lost. It takes him a while, but he makes it back to where the Kage left him at.

Loud footsteps and complaints from various villagers could be heard from all around the marketplace as the boy rushed through the streets. As it was, he had already caused panic when he vaulted from the top of the stairs leading to the Customs Office and into the marketplace below, and now people were dodging him left and right, even though the streets weren't even crowded. Just the sight of the hyperactive boy running through the streets caused people to jump back from feet away from his intended path, and although no one had been run into, the civilians still saw fit to complain.

"Slow down you houligan! Running is no way to behave in public!"

Normally the villages knew not to complain about shinobi in a rush; their job was to protect the village, and so rush was usually required. However, in the brief time the boy was in one's field of view, they didn't recognize the boy as the Raikage's son, nor did they see the the headband worn by shinobi. So they conciseness him a nuiscence and nothing more, and after a brief shout, went on about their business.

"Now where is that ball?"

Since he had already disturbed the villagers in the area, it didn't occur to him to ask around to see if they had seen the ANBU, and for all his searching, Masaaki found no sight of the ANBU, his trail, or the ball.

Find the Dragon Ball Somewhere in the Village (It's around the housing area... but do not head straight there...)
There will be clues as to where the ANBU has been, because he was purposely sloppy.

The boy looked high and low, and could find no trace of the ball. Masaaki rummaged through several shops, opened a few unattended boxs that showed signs of being tampered with, and checked most every nook and cranny that he thought the ANBU would hide it in. Finally, the boy gave up trying to find the ball in the marketplace, still neglecting to ask around to see if anyone had seen the agent.

"Man, where is that ball!"

The boy's frustration was obviously building, and after spending all this time looking just to find nothing, his optimism was now encountering slight difficulty in controlling Masaaki's demeanor. In the end, he decided it would be best to take a break, grab a bite to eat, and recollect himself.

"Excuse me, but just what exactly are you looking for, young man?"

It was an older lady that sat beside Masaaki in a ramen shop that engaged the boy. The creases in her face were deep, but her eyes showed signs of deep wisdom. Hopefully he had not upset her with his investigation.

"My father is training me by having me find a ball he hid somewhere in the village."

Unfortunately, it seemed the lady's age had also payed a toll on her mind aside from her face, as she advised him the whereabouts of a different ANBU she'd seen down in the Training Grounds. He thanked her, payed his bill, and left for the Training Grounds.
