The second pack was led by Emma White and her wolf Shadow, when it was discovered that wolves chose their own Alphas. Before this realization, Eve had already appointed the future Captain and leader of the Patrol. So to prevent a division between human and wolf ranks, plus the continual increase of the wolf population, a second Fort was erected in the year AL 25 - capable of housing nearly fifty Wolfrider pairs. Since then, the Captain and Lieutenant have been appointed based on the current Alpha pair of the pack.
Another discovery during this time were the telepathic humans known as Seers. Emma White discovered her ability later in her life, but it was believed that her high empathy towards wolves allowed her to hear all the wolves and eventually lead her to bonding with Shadow. Since then, the White family has always been a greatly respected lineage as every child born in the White name has become a Wolfrider, with at least one every other generation born a Seer.
