[Starlight's Journal] | [Gemshine's Journal] It was a freezing, winter day. A young silvery Kitalpha was doing lazy loops in the chilly air, feeling the wind between his wing feathers. Getting really bored, he landed in the grass, covered in the morning dew, beside the river. It appeared to be snowing, but most of the trees blocked out the gentle flakes falling from the sky. Not that it mattered to Star anyways. He kind of liked the snow. He watched as the flakes came down around him. Having nothing to do, he rolled over and stared at the sky, his tail flickering back and forth, back and forth in boredom.
It seemed it was a boring day like any other. Nothing much had happened after he had went off on the adventure with the Alulas.

Gemshine as having a rather dull day, simply cruising along in midair and enjoying the shine of the snow falling to the ground around her. Still, not only was this dull, it wsa also tiring and cold, so she soon landed and folded her wings, trotting through the woods until she spotted another kit. "Hello," she called softly, not wanting to startle him,. Perhaps he would like some company on this rather boring (yet peaceful) day?

Star was partially asleep when he heard footsteps and a voice. It was a soft, beautiful sound, and he turned to see who the voice belonged to. Rolling over, he saw another Kitalpha with a bluish-white pelt and white wings. He sat up, blinking a bit as some of the clouds had cleared away and the sun was now shining happily past them. "Hello, my name is Star. I don't think I've ever met you before. Who might you be?"

Well, he was certainly a polite fellow. . . and rather easy on the eyes, if she were to be truthful. Ducking her head, she stretched her wings and then folded them, in a pseudo-curtsy. "It's a pleasure to meet you, sir Star," she said quietly, enjoying the sensation of the sunlight surrounding them. "I'm Gemshine, and to be honest I haven't been in this part of the land for quite some time." She paused for a moment, looking rather hesitant, before asking, "Do you suppose you might be willing to show me around?"
((OOC: Heheh, you just need the practice. If you're going to write anything fictional as you get older, you're gonna need to get practice in writing as both genders. xd Don't worry though, you're doing just fine. ))

Star rose, shaking some of the dirt and snow off his fur. He bowed back to Gemshine. "As you wish, milady." In secret, Star was happy to spend some time with Gemshine. She seemed shy, but he was sure they would become great friends. Star stretched a little before asking, "Do you wish to walk or fly?"

"I'm fine with either," Gemshine said quietly, peering up through the trees, and then back at Star. "Though I find that conversation is less often disturbed while in flight," she added, flicking her tail lightly and stretching her wings out to their full length - upon first glance they were the same size as Star's but when spread they were a good foot longer, and sparkled in the light. "Shall we, sir?"

Star nodded. "Of course, milady." He spread out his white and gold feathered wings before glancing back to make sure Gemshine was following. He started running, gathering speed at a fast pace before he was air born. He circled around to make sure Gemshine was in the air too. Then, he said, "Do you have any specific place in mind that you would like to see first, Lady Gemshine?"

"Oh, wherever you would like to go is fine with me," Gemshine said, smiling softly. Star seemed to be a very polite, gentlemanly fellow - which was only a good thing as far as Gemshine was concerned. "Is there any area around that you prefer above others?" She asked curiously, admiring his lovely-colored wings.
