Tell me is there any time or period in which we are least likely to run across them? perhaps planning any road that we have to take that comes too close to their home could be made safer by taking it during a time they are the least likely to notice. though your mention of traps makes me curious how good an idea that might be as well."
though he stopped his mount, and got off a moment, checking the ground ahead of him...before picking up a small metal cylinder...and putting it back upside down.
"A mage sentinel...I was expecting one sooner or later. walk ahead a bit and I'll place it back as it should be. that way no one knows we're hear, but anyone checking won't be alerted by a disabled device."

A little pull on her own reins to stop her own mount as he stopped his, though the wolf hardly needed direction. It was habit. "I'm not familiar with such things as that." Nodding toward what he was doing. But a pet to the wolf to get them to move ahead then, stopping a few feet up the trail to look back.
