It's a sketch of my avatar. I haven't drawn anything big in a long time, so I'd like CC/redlines on it before I start inking and coloring it. Thanks in advance!

The forearm to our left looks too long, especially in comparison to the other one. Even if the arm to the right is meant to be "back" more, the difference in size seems too great.
I don't think her shoulder is lowered enough for her arm to be able to reach her knees... The forearm also shouldn't be longer than the upper arm. I would just shorten that forearm about the size of one hand (or those balls for hands in this picture).

With the way her shoulders are slanted, her breasts don't really make sense... They should probably be slanted the same way her shoulders are, not the other way. Something else seems off with the breasts, but I can't really say since I'm not too good at drawing them. I'd remove the lines at her neck... I think that's mostly just done in anime where the characters are meant to appear muscular or stressed or something, and I think it's more of a masculine thing.
The sleeves (?) seem to go too far... her hands seem too small or something, unless the sleeves are meant to be covering her wrists and kinda riding up her hand.

I'm not entirely sure what sort of style you're aiming for, so I don't know what to say about the head/face. Chibi styles tend to exclude the nose entirely or just have a slight shadow to show where it is. The head maybe seems too... circular. I'd give it a more defined shape. Of course, many people do have rounder heads. If that's what you were aiming for, that's not a problem.

I would do it something more like this...

Pretty sure I messed the breasts up, and this isn't exactly the pose you were aiming for. Haha, sorry, this actually has quite a few mistakes. Hopefully this helps you some, though.

Thanks much, Zantetsken! That's very helpful. I knew something was off with the arms just by looking, but I couldn't tell what, so that part was especially helpful.

For the sleeves, the outfit is the one this girl's wearing:

So, it's a vest and gloves (?).

Looking at a few of those pictures, it looks like your design is a bit different... which you may have intended, and that's fine. Here are a few of the bigger differences I noticed:
-You have the vest thing covering the shoulders
-You don't have the blue design in the front... like, I don't mean the colour, but the design thing itself
-Your vest thing's collar has a different shape
-Your skirt looks tighter and isn't pleated or whatever
Here's a picture to explain things better:

Of course, you're free to make it look however you want. Many of the pictures in that gallery had different designs or had different outfits entirely. And, of course, your picture is just a rough draft, so it's not like you need to get too detailed yet.

Zantetsken, thanks so much! The uniform's supposed to be like the reference, except for the rabbit stuff.

Sometimes, I've got the problem of drawing things not like what I'm referencing. That happened to me with some project for school. The teacher was, like, this is good, but that's not what's in the photo.

I edited the last sketch. Here's the newer one:

I think it's looking a lot better. Something seems off about the breasts, but I dunno how to describe it since I'm not very good with breasts. I guess what I can say is that it seems like the shirt is tucked under them or something... I dunno, I really don't know how to put my thoughts into words... Hopefully someone who knows about drawing breasts can step in and offer some advice.
Her arms maybe seem a little bit big for her body, or maybe she just needs to be a bit taller (around the stomach). I don't really have any quick, easy tips for that, but... Well, my elbow doesn't reach my belly button. I assume that holds true for all people... Looking in a mirror, it seems like my elbow is about one hand's width short of reaching the belly button. That's a pretty vague guideline, but I guess it's better than nothing.

Her foot to our right appears to be too small in comparison to the other foot.

The upper arm to our right looks kinda thick... The one on the left looks about right.

The hair seems frizzy and those lines at the end make it seem like a scarf. It's fine if the frizziness was intended, but it would seem something needs to be done about the ends... It might look better if you exclude those lines entirely or if you turn them into a more "spikey" shape or something.

The hands could use some work... I think the one on the right looks like a pretty good attempt, though. One thing you should keep in mind is that the back of your hand is flat and that it pretty much lines up with your forearm. I have crappy lighting, but here it is in action:
User Image
Maybe the size of them could use some change, too, but I'm not too sure with this style of picture. Normal proportion rules don't really apply the same way.

Edit: Oh, and the skirt... All I can really think of saying is "make it look more like this guy's pants http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?page=1&t=17802983#220753145 "... That sort of thing is still pretty new to me, though, so I don't really know how to explain it yet. One easy thing to do is move the lines up a little bit at the triangles' bases... then the bottom of the skirt/pants isn't completely even at the bottom and I think it makes it look more like how it should.

Thanks again!

The breasts look off to me too. My brother said so as well, but he couldn't put his finger on what exactly. I want there to be folds in the shirt where they're at, but I don't think I'm going at it the right way. I'll have to practice drawing those.

I'll have to practice with bodies too.

What you pointed about the feet made me realize something. I meant for the slippers on the feet to be at different angles, but a circle would still look like a circle from the angle the other foot is at, wouldn't it? I'm going to fix that and go with non-circular slippers.

Thanks for that hair diagram! XD That made me smile. The hair's supposed to be straight. It's all wobbly in the B/W one, because I was trying not to draw a straight line through the other lines.

Thanks about the skirt too.

This is where I'm at now:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v155/tenko72/gaia/pspxpwip.png
(It's a link because it'd stretch the page, otherwise.)

I'm going to change the slipper on the right foot and I'm going to try with her hair what I did with the fur here:
http://tenko72.deviantart.com/art/Petra-WIP-146766552

So, it won't be ending in a straight line.

I'm coloring in the outfit details, like the stripes and the slippers' features too.

Well, the shape of the slippers wouldn't be a perfect slipper since the foot has to go in on one side. I think most slippers would have more of a semi-circle shape... Well, I'm not so sure about big fluffy bunny slippers since I haven't seen any slippers like that for a long time. Here are some really quick scribbles of how I think the slippers would sorta be like:
http://i45.tinypic.com/2ljon0n.png

Oh, and don't forget the uh... I dunno what to call it, the things at the ends of the sleeves. Unless you want to exclude the part that's around the upper arm, of course.

With your clean version, the thigh to our right looks a bit off... I think it should either connect to where the hip is -or- you could make her body/hips a bit slimmer to match where that thigh's going.

Oh, one other thing I notice about the breasts now is that they're different sizes. I think the one on the left is better. Excuse the rudeness, but the one on the right is almost like a flap or something:
http://i50.tinypic.com/9uovgz.png
If you're drawing smaller breasts, I guess they should be closer to the body or soemthing. Anyhow, the one on the left looks like it has the right kind of shape.

I'm not sure how the hair'll turn out if it's like that fur, but you should avoid putting lines like that inside the hair, I think. Doing that would probably just make the hair look kinda pokey or something... It works with the fur since the fur is sticking out from all directions of the body, but the hair is mostly just coming from one direction (the head, and it falls down because of gravity). I dunno, I think I have more to say about that, but I dunno how to put it into words.
I'd recommend using a smaller number of long strands rather than a large number of short strands. Having a bunch of short lines coming out from all over the hair might make it look like emo/scene hair, I think, or like short fur instead of long hair. You're free to experiment or make whatever final decisions you want, of course.

Edit: There's also something about the nose, but I should probably go to sleep now... I used to just stick a sort of L or < shape on my pictures for a nose regardless of the angle, but I later realized it just doesn't really make sense. The bridge of your nose leads to below your eyebrows/above your eyes. If your picture isn't a perfect front view, I recommend curving the bridge of the nose towards the eyebrow that's farther from the viewer.
