Cassandra Skye Bloodthirsty | Schizophrenic| Dark Empire | Seductress -------------------- Cassandra draws herself up to her full height, staring Kai Hiroka dead in the face and entering his personal space as any respect she may have for him dissipates. “Enough. I came here to find peace, not to spy on you. So stop making assumptions. When I arrived here, I assumed I was alone, hence my surprise at seeing you. As for your insulting, you’ve crossed a line. Most of what you’ve said to disrespect me so far, I’ve let slide, since I did insult you back at the Academy. Like it or not, we are both part of our Empire’s army. You’re stuck with me, deal with it and stop whining. I’m not too thrilled to be working with you, either, but as long as we’re stuck as forced allies, I’m not taking any more of your insults or bullshit.” She turns to stomp out of the room, severely pissed that her own anger has brought the voices in her head to an angry mutter. “I’m part of the army, so says Lord Jinsoku Fuzen. You have a problem? Take it up with him. I’m here in the ruins so I don’t go on a murderous rampage and slaughter half of the empire before the guards catch me. Stop insulting me. You’re stuck with me as part of the army. Just because I rank lower than you doesn’t give you permission to give me hell. You don’t like me. I don’t like you, either. Suck it up.” Cassandra turns back to the aqualite quickly, forcing an apologetic expression onto her face. “I apologize that you had to see that. I, however, am not taking s**t form anyone anymore. That’s what got me here in the first place.” She grimaces before stepping from the room into the crumbling hallway, pacing back and forth briskly, her heels making tapping noises on the ruined stone floor. Ten steps in one direction, ten steps back. Back and forth, until her seething anger seems to ebb a bit. Her knees tremble with rage, her whole body shaking and convulsing violently as her vision turns red around the edges. It takes a matter of milliseconds before she drops to her knees in the hallway, tears racking her petite frame as she mutters the words to a prayer, sending them to Shinpou, her mother, and her infant brother. “Korera no kotoba wa, anata no mimi ni, furai suru koto ga arimasu mono o tsuika shimashita. Haha wa, watashi wa katsute no tsuyo-sa o ataeru. Watashi wa, aku o konzetsu shi, jaakuna jinrui o jouka shite shobatsu herupu. I wish to help the world be a better place before I myself join you, James, and the rest of our late family in the next life. My love for you will last until the end of time, and I only wish that we had been given more time together. Please, Mother. I need your help. I need your strength. I need your guidance. @Mondude: Yeah. That’s why I’m making custom stuff.] “What do I care if you see the darkest side of my heart? Cassandra Skye Bloodthirsty | Schizophrenic| Dark Empire | Seductress -------------------- Cassandra stands and sweeps from the hall, from the ruins in general, headed back towards the Dark Empire. The tapping sounds of her heels on the floor echoes through the eerily silent hallways as she exits, determined to continue her spellwork at the Academy. “What do I care if you see the darkest side of my heart? Katya Maly
Katya watched awkwardly as Kai and Cassandra argued, she stayed silent so as to not get involved... She occupied herself thinking about the last couple of weeks... She thought about Kira, Shiro... Itami.. Mostly Itami, she thought about how much she loved him and how much she missed him... Her heart hurt from the fact that she might not see him again anytime soon, that is, if Kira didnt find out about her and Itami.. Silently, a tear rolled down her face for him and she wiped it off...
Katya's mind returned to where she was at once Cassandra began to talk to her. "Oh, its ok Cassandra... " She said, watching her walk away... I should probably go too.. For some reason she didnt want to stay here anymore... But where would she go? She could return to Lord Shiro but he was distant, no to mention busy... Kira had made it impossible for her to go really anywhere, there was the constant chance that someone would recognize and turn her in.
She decided that the best thing might be to stay here, simply working with her bow or on her concentration. Katya walked to the next room, it was dark and cool, perfect for meditating. She pulled her bow off and set it against the wall so that she could sit down comfortably and sat down next to it. She took a position similar to how she had seen Itami sit when he was meditating and closed her eyes. Almost immediately, she felt tons better. She felt like she was getting the much needed rest and peace that she had needed since the day she left Kira. Her arm still bore a scar from where he had hit her, reminding her of what she had been through and her goals for the future. She needed to gather all her strength, she felt like something big was coming up and she needed to be at her best to serve Shiro. Hopefully she could serve him against Kira. Stop.. She told herself, she needed to stop these thoughts. Thoughts of revenge would do her absolutely no good and she needed to focus on her meditation. She adjusted her leg as it felt as though something was crawling on it and settled... She cleared her mind of all negativity.. Of everything and thought about nothing. The reliable feel of inhaling and then exhaling the cool air was what she focused on. She felt the stead rise and fall of her chest and the heartbeat in her ears. She stayed like that for hours...
Finally, she decided that she needed to get up, she was getting hungry and needed to take a break. She stood up and streched her legs, after being crosslegged for about three hours, they hurt badly. She laughed at herself, in a perfectly content mood. Perfectly relaxed. She felt a new, positive outlook on life in which everything would be perfectly fine. She took her bow andleft the room she was in, going outside to find a stream to get some water and posssibly some fish. It was dark out and took quite a bit of looking before she finally found a good sized pond. Katya pulled her bow off her back again and fit an arrow into it, she pulled it back and aimed at an unsuspecting fish. She let the arrow go and it went straight through the fish, sticking it to the ground at the bottom of the stream. Quickly, she stripped naked so as not to wet her clothes as she jumped into the water, going after the fish and the arrow. When she came back to the surface, she swung her wet hair around, enjoying the way the breeze felt on her scalp. Katya had missed the water, she hadnt had the chance to go swimming in a while so she took her time in the water. It was cold and the wind was blowing on her wet body, drying it slowly, but she didnt mind the cold, she embraced it. It was relaxing, almost as much as meditating. She finally decided to get out so as not to catch a cold. Barely managing to dress herself, she realized how late it was and how exhausted she felt. A beautiful tree was in a dry place next to the pond and she decided she would rest there. She gether her bow and he stuff and moved over to the tree, settling down there and morphing into a dog again so that she could get comfortable. It didnt take long before she feel asleep...

Katya Maly
Katya woke up feeling as though someone had beaten her. I must really have been exhausted... She elaborated. The sun was high in the sky, signaling noon. She had slept a long time, it was a miracle nothing bad had happened. She stood up and stretched, wincing slightly at the feel of her stiff muscles coming back to life. Removing her clothing once more, she jumped into the pond to search for something to eat. The cold water helped her trememdously in waking her up fully. What should i do today?.. She asked herself. She decided she would stay another day and train.
Once she got out of the water and was dressed once more, she felt tons better. Walking into the forest quietly, she decided that she would hunt something to work on her aim and abilities with her bow. Low to the ground and careful not to step on any twigs, Katya continued deeper into woods. There, about ten feet away, was a deer. Katya armed her bow with one of her arrows and pulled it back, collecting electricity in it. She felt the energy leave her hands and enter the arrow, giving it a shocking appearance. The arrow had tiny bolts of electricity running along the tip, giving away its purpose. She pulled the arrow back so that when she let it go it would have enough momentum to reach the deer. It flew through the air as she let it go, giving the deer no time at all to react. With a thud! The deer fell to the ground. Returning her bow to her back, she made her way to the deer. Perfect She thought, she had put the arrow right through its heart, killing it instantly with no need for the electricity at all. Satisfied with her kill, she returned her bow to her back and pulled out a knife and began to clean it so that later she might cook some of it. The deer was a good sized one, perfect for feeding her for various days if she intended on staying that long.
Once the deer was clean and the unwanted parts disposed of, she made her way back to the room that she had meditated in the day before. She sat in the same place, same position and resumed what she had started the day before. Her mind was cleared instantely of all negativity and everything that bothered her. Everything was the same onl this time after a few hours, she felt the need to move her hands and try out the small spell Itami had taught her before they parted ways, again. "Mizigijutsu number 1: Create" She whispered, her eyes still closed. She felt the familiar feeling of the water energy racing down to her hands and then she added her electricity, feeling the two different kinds of energy intertwine and join in her palms. She opened her eyes as she pulled her palms apart and watched much more water than she had ever created appear in between her hands. In the water tiny bolts of electricity struck as if she had somehow caught a lightning storm in her hands. She was amazed again and thought of how proud Itami would be of her. An idea popped into her head as she closed her eyes again, leaving the water where it was in her hands. She concentrated long and hard on the water between her hands until she felt it begin to move, creating a whirlpool in her hand. The prospect was amazing and her achievement bettered her mood, even if it was a small one. She held the tiny whirlpool in her hands and willed it to go faster and faster until it looked like a tornado made out of water. She discovered that by moving her palms away from each other the tornado stetched becoming wider or thiner and longer if she move her hands close to each other. As time went by, she continued to play with her tornado until the sun went down again and she decided that it was time to stop. Realizing she was hungry, she made a fire nd cooked some of the deer meat.
Once the food was done and eaten, she went back to her tree, pulled off her bow and leaned her back against the tree, slowly sliding down to the ground and falling asleep almost instantly.

Katya Maly The sun slowly coming over the horizon woke Katya up from her fitful sleep, dreams of the people she loved getting hurt filled her mind during the night. Reluctantly, she got up, stretched and began what was becoming her morning ritual. Once she was dressed again and had eaten some of the deer she thought about what was on the agenda for today. Maybe ill leave today...She thought. The problem with that was that she didnt know where she would go. Under normal circumstances she would seek out Itami or Aiko. But these were not normal circumstances and visiting them would also put them in danger and she wasnt about to risk something happening to them. No matter...
Katya sat down again in the usual spot and began her usual meditation. She thought of nothing and felt the calm pass through her veins, from her face to her chest, her arms and fingers, down her stomach, to her legs and finally her feet. She lifted her arms, holding her palms together and whispering ""Mizigijutsu number 1: Create". Slowly, yet surely, Katya felt the familiar sensation of yesterday, the water rushing to her hands and then the electricity adding to it. Without opening her eyes, she separated her aplms yet again and felt the water grow in between her palms. This time she focused hard on the water, slowly feeling it gain momentum again. Her eyes were still closed as she focused hard and felt the water stop its spinning motion. Instead of focusing again on the spinning motion, she focused on freezing the water. She was trying to see just how much she could do without a teacher. She focused long and hard, for what felt like hours but could have been minutes. Once she decided to finally open her eyes, she glared as she say that the water was still liquid. Focus harder... She told herself and this time with her eyes open, she focused on the water, focused on it slowly freezing. She imagined a frosty breeze blowing across her hands and freezing the water slowly and, sure enough, the water began to slowly freeze. Her mind raced as she focused on maintaining her concentration. After a little while, the water was a solid ice brick in her palms. She smiled at her accomplishment and closed her eyes once more. This time she thought of the water thawing and becoming liquid again. When she opened her eyes again the water was liquid again. Quite the accomplishment Katya thought, pleased with herself. It was now late afternoon but she decided that she still had time before it got dark to try something else she had thought about while trying to fall asleep the previous night.
After adjusting her sitting position and having a little drink of water, Katya returned to her work. The water was still between her hands, liquid. Her eyes closed as she began to meditate again, feeling the same feel of calm as the previous days, and she was taken to a place of utter concentration. Her senses took over as she felt her hands move, stretching the water as far as she could. Her arms stayed like that, with the water between them for a long time as she focused on freezing it again. Finally she felt the water harden, taking the shape of a slightly deformed spear of ice. Sure enough, there it was in her hands when her eyes opened. Katya smiled wide at her spear. Amazing... She thought and felt the spear begin to melt on her hands. Katya just smiled at it and let it melt, documenting its every detail. Her progress was fantastic and yet again she was sure that Itami would be proud of her. Noticing how late it was into the night, she decided that her time here might just be up. One last night, She decided and yawned while getting up and returning to her tree. The tree welcomed her it seemed or maybe that was how sleepy she was. Falling to sleep was not a difficult task and she slept late into the morning.
When Katya woke up it was indeed late. Oh not again, cursing herself for sleeping so late. She got up, bathed, ate and packed up her things with a new sense of confidence. She shifted into her bird form again, breathing a sigh of relief that she would soon be back in the air. Lifting up off the ground, she looked back at the Ancient Tombs, pleased with her experience there. She flew far, taking in each landscape and savoring the view. [[Exit, not sure to where xD]]
