Elle melted against him, relaxing into his arms and forgetting to breathe at the feel of his lips so close to hers. Something so sweet, that she never for a moment thought to take...here, freely, offered to her.
Tilting her head the slightest bit, hair trailing across his chest, Elle brushed her lips fully to his for a slow, sweet ghost of a kiss. There was no presssure, in any sense, just the perfection of two with the faint wish to become one.
One hand found his, fingers entwining, as she lost all sense of time.

He didn't pull away when he felt her move closer. It seemed stupid to even concider doing so. Someone so used to shying away from everyone letting someone so close.
His breath caught in his chest when he felt her lips press lightly against his. The pale eyes closed as he simply lost himself in the sensation. Gentle as it was it was all he could seem to feel aside from her hand finding his. The soft flicker-smile came back for a heartbeat as he twined his fingers with her's.

Elle smiled as well as they held the kiss...eyes finally fluttering open as she drew gently back. Lifting one hand to smooth her thumb along Lonan's cheek, Elle sighed in near bliss. Was there any more to life, truly, than finding those you wished to spend it with?
Giving his hand a squeeze, she kept her voice as gentle as her touch. "I can't stay long...I have young ones to watch over. But...if you'd like, I have another day to myself soon." Leaning forward to settle her cheek against his, Elle enjoyed the feel of his pale skin against hers.
"Think we can wait that long to be near each other again?" Actually, she was a bit curious.

Lonan sighed contentedly, the sound seeming almost alien to him. "Perhaps I could come with you? To learn the way should I ever need to find you?"
Feeling her warm cheek pressed against his cooler one seemed to make fire spread through his veins. The type that he was loathe to quelch.
"Perhaps. I know you're strong and if you can then so can I. You'll always be able to find me should you need me though." Who knew the simple presence of someone could be so fulfilling?

She brightened at the very suggestion. "Would you...come with me? I know children can be draining..." If he was willing to run the gauntlet, she wouldn't deter him!
Settling forward, curling across his lap, Elle rested her cheek on her arm and sighed. Of course, leaving meant getting out of bed...and she rather enjoyed the company.
"Hmm...maybe later today, after the sun's warmed things a bit..." She smiled at the thought, wishing just a moment longer. Always a moment longer.

"Of course, if you'll let me. Haven't you noticed that this place teems with a rather large assortment of it's own life? Part of my repayment for staying here is helping. A few children won't deter me." There were signs of the other inhabitants everywhere outside his room. Fur under the furniture, the odd small pet zooming through, the well used and warm stables outside. Just because he didn't like to mingle with people didn't mean animals fell into the same category.
Feeling her ettler herself his wings moved again, wrapping around her to keep her warm. It was almost instinctual by now.
"Yes, later would be better." A yawn interupted his words. "I'm sorry. I think I must have done more yesterday than I should have." That was hardly a surprise. He'd done his and Devmani's share of work without complaint seeing as how the taur was away. Draconayzia was strained and he didn't want her sick. It was no surprise then when his eyes started to drift closed again.

Eyes opening once again, Elle nodded slowly...gaze travelling over Lonan's peaceful face. "It is that way...for us, as well. I stay, I help, and I look after the younglings. Perhaps you will be at home, after all."
Sinking back against him at the feel of his wings, Elle chuckled and snuggled a bit closer. He was so peaceful, she couldn't imagine getting up without him!
"Ooh, more lounging? Well, you've talked me into it!" Catching his yawn a few moments later, she smiled and made herself comfortable. Her thigh settled across his, arm upon his chest as she hummed something so quiet it was meant only for the two of them.
With any luck, this moment would never end.

"Just don't let them steal my staff and I'll be perfectly fine." Wings settled more comfortably, leaving on the trace of her hair and face from under the warm softness. Better than any blanket.
Hearing her hum and feeling the light vibrations it made on the side of his chest he shivered once and then simply relaxed. Heaving a contented sigh he let his head tip back against the headboard and his eyes close. Lightly pale lips parted slightly with even breath. He could definately stay in this addiction for the rest of his days.

As Elle settled down against him, dreams filtered in once more...sweet and placid dreams, full of light and soothing dark. The faces were gone, the cries unheard...for a few moments more, they could share peace. The sun rose higher, ignored by the two as they rested. Even if it had to end, just for now...things were as they were meant to be. All too soon the duties of the day would be upon them, but for now there was nothing but the steady rhythm of two hearts, and the gentle pressure of two bodies entwined. It had been a beautiful day. heart
