This can be done with a certain item... No doubt, a very expensive one, but I don't remember the title... College really takes away old memories, ahaha! ... *rubs my head*

Sigh... anyways, I regret to tell you, though this is only from my experience on gaia, it takes a lot of time and effort to own a dream avatar worth that much. But, if you really want it, there are plenty of places on gaia to get gold. This guild can offer more knowledge than I can, but I believe saying my part can help even a little.

Towns may be old, as some may have complained, but if you're really low for gold, you can circle around rocks, trees, and bushes- sometimes your avatar may kick some loose gold coins and you obtain them upon this action.

The second thing I did for gold was regular forum posting, joining guilds like this one to find help, sell any unwanted items, and trade with friends. I also played zOMG!, but it's more fun to play it with people who know how to play, such as members being at least 2.2 levels higher than you. My character is a 10.0, so the toughest challenges to bring my much gold anymore.
