I wanted to make a big gear out of coloured lights on our lawn. However, my parents decided otherwise and used reigndeer. I am hoping to get steampunk clothes or books though ^^

I don't even recall how I wound up stumbling across those videos a few days ago, but it brought me back to Abney Park fandom. It's cool to see bands when they're with their families or just being normal people. Kinda un-deifies them.
All I asked for of my parents/family for Christmas was Abney Park stuff. For some reason, they just recently decided that I was strange. Last year I made a belt with brass-looking bells on it for the holidays. P.^

Oooh, Blue, do you have pictures of said belt? It sounds wonderful!
I asked for Aether Shanties for Christmas, but, alas, it would seem that Santa doesn't have a paypal account, and is therefore unable to acquire it. v.v However, I believe there may be some Clockwork Couture involved in my Yule, and I know my boyfriend's parents were looking for steamy things for me as well. I don't even know what I'll get for Christmas yet, and already I feel spoiled...
Oh, and Blue, you may have stumbled across them on the Captain's (Captain Robert, of course, not Amaranth) livejournal account, where I found them, or perhaps Abney Park's youtube account. I feel like such a perfect stalker, but they made my day as well!
Also, may I interest you in The League of Steam's holiday installment?

I'll get a few pics taken and posted straightaway. It never crossed my mind that others would be interested in my jingle belt.
The League of Steam's video is wonderfully grand, as well.

I didn't ask for any kind of steampunkee things for christmas, but I do have lots of plans for after the holidays with the money I hopefully get. :3
My friends and I did however have a Steampunk Christmas party which was pretty much the coolest thing ever.
