have you guys seen the news (you probably have) yesterday was terrible, the smoke went right over my house, it was likea false blanket of darkness, felt like night by 2, and it doesn't even get that bad in the middle of winter. but i do really reel for the people living near the plant with their windows and doors blown in. i think thats seriously weird that that could happen. sad

Yes we were coming back from Bristol and we left early cos we thought the M25 would be a nightmare as the M1 was closed (funnily enough it was almost empty) but coming past the hemel hemstead turnoff it was very dark and we must have seen about 20 fire engines screaming up the motorway on the other side sad

Josie that must have been the strangest experience! we see stuff like this all the time in films, and because of that we never expect it to happen in real life because we always associate enormous disasters with fiction, actually seeing something as apocolyptic as that would make me scared to death i think, i'd seriously think it was the end of the world, i'd be looking for the remote to switch it off sad

I didn't realise how big it was till i got home on Sunday from work. I used to live next to Stanlow oil refinerey and i remeber about 20 years ago one tank going up. People all around at the time thought it was some kind of nuke strike. Can't even begin to imagine what it was like down there!!!!
