Don’t what? In surprise Raiden listened to Tzeitel’s soft words before wrapping his arms tightly around the centauress. She didn’t blame him? His gaze flickered in confusion. How could she not be angry at him when during that time he had broken his promise? He had let go of her hand and hadn’t even been able to chase her down when he had found her again. She had been alone for days with someone who harmed her…
His heart thumped loudly in his chest as she pressed herself closely to him. Raiden’s face flushed as he was certain that she could hear his heart betraying his true feelings. He didn’t want her to be upset. Really looks like I can’t run away from this one. With the thought Raiden gently put a hand under Tzeitel’s chin and lifted her face towards his. “Tzeitel…” Perhaps it was the fact that he was so tired or that he was so relieved to see her in his arms safe like this that the centaur did something quite unlike himself. Moving without another thought Raiden firmly pressed his lips to hers in that moment.

Khalidah couldn't stop smiling. She'd said it, she really did! It felt like a weight had been lifted off her, though she wasn't conscious enough to recognize the feeling. "You lo-o-ove me too?" Her cheeks face couldn't have burned darker, and she felt as if her neck was on fire.
"I'll keep your secret forever, and ever, Aaron. Until the end of time." Khali wrapped both of her arms around his neck and stepped up to place her lips onto his. Her foreleg wrapped up alongside his, helping to aid her in balance, but more of an impulsive response. His scent, his sight, Aaron...just Aaron...She never wanted to let him go!

Sniffling softly, Tzeitel couldn't bear her thoughts. Raiden had been blaming himself. She could still remember how she'd frozen when they'd been separated in the slaver town. Her hand had been so empty. How frightened she'd been while captive... but then, Raiden's shining light as he burst into the room, saving her from whatever the wolf master had planned. Saving her from that pit. No more grasping hands or sleazy grins. He'd had to save Khali and Aaron on his own, and then herself... He was amazing.
The gentle touch to her chin reminded her that she knew he would never hurt her like he had the wolf. That was completely different... When their eyes met, she was surprised by what she saw in his eyes. Such warmth and tenderness.. She gasped softly as their lips met, her own gaze widening in shock before easing closed with relief and contentment. She hugged as tightly to him as she could, knowing that she would only ever want Raiden's arms around her again.
Hugging her tightly, Aaron leaned eagerly into the kiss. He was in love! And so was she! With him! This was what dreams were made of!
A few of the folks around them started laughing. "Oy! Why don't you two get a room!"
Aaron perked his ears, and pulled back to look at Khali. "Oh! A room! I haven't had a room in so long. Let's go see one! Can we?"

Keeping Tzeitel close to him Raiden deepened their kiss for a few moments longer before finally pulling back. His eyes shone from the action and he had to keep his breathing even though his heart was still roaring in his chest. Her arms around him kept him from breaking away just then and he was relieved to find that she had accepted his kiss rather than leaving an imprint of her hand on his cheek. “Tzeitel…” Running his hand through her hair the centaur leaned forward and kissed the top of her head softly, “I think you finally caught me.”
His fingers trailed through her hair as he held it out and played with a few strands before letting them fall through his fingers. Raiden couldn’t help, but to stare at the beautiful centauress before him. Since when had she started meaning so much more to him? At first he had found her to be a force against him while he was trying to keep his sister safe and this stranger with her friend was encouraging such ventures, then he found her more as a companion, a teenage crush of sorts, but now…so meant so much more to him. He would go to any length for her. Moving so that he could lay down Raiden gently tugged Tzeitel down with him so that he could keep his arms wrapped around her, “We better sleep so that we can get away from this place tomorrow with ease.” He whispered softly into her hair before a faint grin came over his features.
“Though it might be hard to sleep easily considering.” He placed a light kiss on her ear and squeezed her lightly, “Sweet dreams Tzeitel."

Khalidah just laughed, and blew a raspberry at one of the hooters, never once letting go of her man. Her man, ha!
"We should, we definitely should get a room, can we-?" She looked over her shoulder, and blinked hard to focus on the key being held infront of her. An older, well put together hostess happily placed it in Khali's palm, once she plied it away from touching Aaron. "Last on the left, upstairs. Can you two get up there, or is the shed alright?"
Snickers and woots were heard all around, giving Khali cause to blush, if she had enough sense to give a damn. She just smiled, and saluted. "Thanks! Come on Aaron, let's go...but you lead, I don't think I can walk so good. The floor has waves."

A small gasp for breath sounded as their lips parted, Tzeitel blinking damp eyes. Raiden... A small smile rose, and she nodded. "I'm glad..."
She was more than content to sit there gazing up at that handsome face. They'd kissed. Raiden... Was this really...? She was suddenly terrified that this was a dream. That she was really back in that horrid house, about to wake up from another beating. This felt so real though... and she usually woke before their lips touched. She pressed her face against Raiden's shoulder as they laid down, keeping herself firmly against him as the tears of joy snuck through her clenched eyes. "You, too, Raiden," she murmured, hugging tightly until the comfort of being safe in his arms relaxed her enough to get the first night of decent sleep she'd had since being taken.
Aaron was glad to see Khali so excited about the room as well. They had so much in common! Giving the helpful woman a nod of thanks, he took a moment to figure out where the stairs were. "I'll help with whatevah you need, Khali," he crooned, holding her firmly with one arm as his other stuck out for balance. Once at the top of the stairs, which seemed to be moving themselves, he needed another minute to figure out which side was the left. "This gotta be it," he announced, taking the key from Khali and spending another full two minutes trying to get the key into the keyhole, and figuring out which way to turn it to unlock it. Inside, he started rambling on and on of how lucky he was having a room with such a beautiful, wonderful, incredible woman~ Drunken charm at its best.

Raiden just smiled tenderly at her words before rubbing her back once more. As she laid against him the centaur couldn’t even express his happiness. All he could do was watch over her as she finally fell asleep against him. Then with his arms wrapped tightly around her he finally allowed his own head to drop as sleep overtook him. It was the most restful sleep he had had since running into the slave town. For that, and definitely for the centauress next to him, Raiden was truly grateful.
The next thing he knew morning sunlight was shining through the trees and waking him. Yawning Raiden gently slipped from beneath Tzeitel’s arms and after giving a light kiss to her forehead the centaur moved towards the stream. Rinsing his body off to wake up more with the cold water he turned around. Khalidah and Aaron were still gone…what had happened to them? He frowned with faint worry before shaking his head. Surely he could trust those two to not get into more trouble after they had finally escaped from such a mess. He would give them until later afternoon, then he would go through town and find the two of them as well so that they could get out of this forsaken place. A bit later he headed back through the trees and soon had a couple of fish turning over in a fire.

Khali giggled and leaned against Aaron, so happy that he was such a good stair walker. He made their walk so much easier than it could have been, since she was so wobbly on her hooves. She couldn't explain it, but she felt safe there with him, stumbling and bumbling as they were. Safe and happy and content and so very light headed. "Looks like it to me." Khalidah nodded.
Inside, she couldn't care less about what he was saying. She placed her lips back on his the first chance she got, and wrapped her arms around his neck. He wasn't the only lucky one, that much she knew. A girl like her shouldn't have been able to find such a stable, amazing guy, but she had. And she wanted to show him just how much he meant to her through more drunken methods.
Remembering at the last second that the door was wide open, Khalidah kicked it shut, and set about starting the next chapter of her life.
