History : Born the oldest of two children to an Eurlak family, in the equivalent of Tarallus' France, Amelia lost her mother and ten year old brother to pneumonia four years ago. As the only child left to a middle-class merchant, Amelia was pushed to marry so there would be a proper heir to the shop, however, she never found anyone to marry and her father would not accept a woman to succeed him.
With business of the shop to take her mind off of the losses, as well as taking up most of her time, there was no time for Amelia to invest in the business of love with work to do. In time her father's health too declined, and on his deathbed the merchant sold off his shop and what remained of the money after his funeral was awarded to Amelia. It was at this point, with nothing left to call her own, Amelia's Daemon manifested. In desperation to find somewhere to live, Amelia travelled to Jaradin College, in the hope of gaining a place at the school.
