I would board up my windows. I have 2 swords and a lot of items in my house to use as weapons.

Honestly, if there was more than one zombie outside my house RIGHT NOW, with no time to prepare, I'd die. My front window is really big and would be broken open easily and we've only got one floor and no guns. I'm trying to think what I've got laying around for weapons and other than a couple of swords in the bedroom closet, I've got nothin'. However, at the beginning of a breakout, I'd be prepping the crawlspace under the house for a long-term hideout and then wait for them to freeze. Yay for Canadian winters!

IF I was upstairs I'd jump out of my window and run to a safer place. If I was downstairs I would grab something long and sharp and start taking out eyes as I ran.

well, I couldn't be entirely certain, but I think maybe dad's home could survive a good siege, probably. Of course I would board up the windows and have my family's SUV parked in front of the front door as an extra barricade. I have a few sliding doors and a lot of windows in my house so I imagine that blankets, blinds and board would be a good thing. "going dark" would probably be the best form of prevention of a siege of course. I do keep a lot of emergency supplies/ MRE's and an emergency generator as well as a bicycle generator in my shed, so hypothetically, My family of five could last for roughly two years. My father and I are proud owners of an assortment of firearms of varying calibers: pistols, shotguns, rifles, as well as an abundance of ammunition. Our family also plays a lot of baseball, and I am an avid cricket player, so we have melee defenses being bats of course. as well as a collection of war memorabilia such as machetes and entrenchment tools. There is a rain ditch( because it rains so much where I live, making water a non-issue) in the backyard, so it could be used for toiletries. So, hypothetically speaking of course, my home could possibly be self-sufficient as well as defensible for a while. If it came down to it, we could relocate to the attic if the defenses fell.Thoughts?

Well, my house might survive for about a week before I'd have to leave. But supply-wise, I'd get out of there ASAP. I'd grab my swords, knives, and tools (mechanic's toolset, crowbar, sledgehammer, etc...). Then I'd raid the pantry for all of our canned food and sodas/bottled waters. Then I'd get into my Jeep and lay rubber up to my dad's in Pennsylvania, where I have my shotgun (Mossberg 500) and my truck (1991 Ford F-250). from there, I'd do a little up-armoring to both vehicles and load up my family (dad, uncle, and cousins) then take both vehicles up north to wait out the apocalypse.

And if that don't work, we could always go looking for Arcadia xd
