Ok, so I like the guild im in. I've been with the same group since I was like...level 18? XD Anyway, we were in a guild together before, (DEATH DISTRICT) and then one of the higher-ranked members left the guild to make another one.
I was about level.....38-ish? Around this time, one of the people who left PM'ed me saying something about how 'All of the members are going to this new guild.' I think about it a little, and end up joining. (Everyone in the guild was freaking out, saying things like 'Why are people leaving. We're a GOOD guild!' Was kinda sad.)So I enter the guild. (Flesh N Blood)
Im in this guild for a hell of a while, and im told that I am held in high regard because of the fact I was in DEATH DISTRICT. I am told by one of the Ruling Council that I will probably be promoted. Im about level....51. So I Level up quite a bit, about to......68? When the Guild Leader and all of his alts just stopped logging off. No warning, messages, nothing. He hadnt logged on for 2 months when people started to leave.
Pretty much everyone high ranking leaves, and im completely lost, torn because I like the old guild, but I miss the people in Ruling Council that were my friends, which was most of them. So I get a PM from an old member (the same person who PM'd me about it before, actually XD) Saying they'll invite me to this new guild. I accept right away.
The person who told me I would get promoted soon was the guild leader. So I was just thinking 'Oh cool!' I help regularily, im almost 80, im friends with the Ruling Council. I have been with the same people for like a year. And guess what? People who are level 36. Are in. The ruling council. Along with people who have only been in the guild for like 2 weeks, and people who arent nearly as good friends with people as I am. I am really, really angry about this.
/End longest QQ rant ever, I should think.

I don't blame you for being angry; that sounds like you got the short end of the stick. I have been playing a few years, and I tend to stay in guilds for a fairly long time. So when I do leave a guild it's like a breakup. It can be hard, but sometimes it gets to the point where you and the guild just don't want the same things anymore, just like a relationship. Maybe you have hit that point with this group of people? It might have been fun to play with them, but if the guild doesn't have a strong foundation, if it doesn't have good communication, if there are false promises, if the things don't make sense, and if you're not getting what you feel you deserve out of it it could be time to either have a serious talk with the GM, to look for another guild, or to start your own guild. If you decide to start your own, you could even invite a lot of the same people to join you, but that way you would be able to organize it better than some of the others have been able to. Good luck!
