 Deep in the midst of avoiding the so-called 'Social Circuit' that her human liked to throw her into, and especially one dual sword-carrying Anthro Namir in particular, Nekoyitolani sat underneath a low growing forest pine. Her whip sat coiled next to her and her own sword was laid across her lap as she inspected it for any unwanted winter wearing. She hadn't used her sword much except for spitting fish, and though she was certain she dried it properly before re-sheathing it every time she had seen a few young village boys fail to do the same and end up with cracked hilts and scabbards come mid-winter.
Her blue tinted green eyes still staring at the sword, her thoughts wandered into the concept of this strange new holiday the clearing had become obsessed with. 'Christmas' or, for the sake of 'political correctness', 'Holidays' in general. A frown pursing her lips, she tried to ignore the unsaid wish that had followed her from the strange wishing well Namiah had recently acquired, another product of the 'Holidays'.
Blowing one of her long bangs out of her face, unaware for a certain while that it had fallen there to obstruct her view, she continued with her weapon's inspection. "Holidays," she muttered, "I know of one 'TV' saying that my stupid human has compared me to... Ba Humbug..." Her frown turned into a scowl and she began to try actually focusing on her work.

 Purple eyes stare down at Nek as she inspected her weapon. The smile on her watcher's face as there like always, but maybe a little bigger this time. It was Moonlight who was laying on a branch high up in Nek's pine tree. Not the most comfortable tree to be in, but this will be worth it. It always is. Her hand went over a snow cover branch, that was right over Nek. One, Two, Three, she thought before shaking the branch hard enough to make the snow fall on her friend. Once she was happy with how much snow had fallen, Moonlight quickly half climb half jumped to land next to her. "Hello!" Moonlight greeted, with a huge grin on her face.

So focused was she on her weapon that she didn't hear the crackling of the pine needles until it was too late. A small avalanche of snow landing directly on top of her head, Nek could only utter a flustered gasp of surprise when Moonlight appeared right in front of her.
"GAH!!!" came her usual response, followed by the 'thud' of falling backwards and another series of cracklings and thuddings as her landing shuddered more snow from the tree. When the snow had finally settled a muffled mutterring could be heard from under the snow, but any words were drown out until Nek's head popped out of it as she sat upright and glared at Moonlight.
Growling as she brushed the snow from her sleeves and tried to dig it out of the back of her tunic she fixed Moonlight with her feircest scowl. "What do you want?" she finally asked, adding with a narrowing of her eyes, "...Other than to cause me trouble?" Her sword, unfortunately, was not spared the snow and when she finally took her gaze from Moonlight to await a reply her face fell into what could possibly be considered a disappointed look for Nek.

Moonlight had to quickly jump out of the way as more snow fell from the tree. Once it was over, she looked for Nek, who seemed to disappear. As soon as she heard mutterring, she burst into laugher. It took her a moment to calm down, so she could answer Nek's question. "Oh that was to good, almost too good," she said, kneeing down so she can be on eye level with Nek. "Can't I just spend some time with my partner? Or is that to much for you?" Moonlight notice that Nek turn her attention back to her sword. "You know if put your tongue on it, it won't let go," she stated.

Nek turned her scowl back to Moonlight, "Go ahead and laugh, enjoy it while you can." When she first met Moonlight she would have reacted indignantly to such amusement on her behalf, she would react indignantly if anyone else were to laugh at her in such a way. She sighed, realizing that somehow she had become more tolerant of Moonlight's behavior.
"Since the scroll is pretty much useless in this world we technically no longer have a reason to be partners..." she muttered, just loud enough for only herself to hear. Wiping the snow from the blade of her sword she replied in her normal volume with a snirk, "I don't think anyone can stand spending too much time with you, they'd probably die from all of your 'fun'."
She had to blink and look at her freinemy for a moment at her last statement. After her disbeleif turned to suspicion, she looked from her sword to Moonlight and back, her suspicion then turning into confusion. "I don't beleive you," she said, leary of another one of Moonlight's little games, "How can a sword grab your tongue?"(Moonlight should not, I repeat should NOT elaborate on that last subject, she should either say something along the lines of 'Fine, don't beleive me' or 'You're just too chicken to try'
If she elaborates Nek will refuse and then wait until after Moonlight's left to try it XD
Though if you want her to do that and then Moonlight pretends to leave only to hide in a tree or something and watch her that would work, too XD )

"Well, you haven't died from all my fun." Moonlight replied. "Or maybe I should say not yet, but you don't seem that weak." She was going to say more, but then Nek replied to her about her tongue being grab by the sword. Did she really think that it will grab it like a hand or something, she thought. Oh this should be good, really good. "You really don't believe me. How sad," she said, giving a little more of a serious face then normal.

"It is not sad!" Nek retorted, stiffening and scowling at Moonlight, "I just... Don't see how that would be possible..." With an annoyed sniff she wiped the cloth along the blade one more time before holding it up to inspect it closely and glance it Moonlight.
"If you need it to be proven to you that it is not possible, then I will do that," she said, feeling the cold blade once with her hand to assure herself that it was still the same cool metal as usual before sticking her tongue out and sticking it to her sword.
She tried to speak and pull her tongue away at the same time, "Thee?" It took her a moment to realize that her word sounded funny and that her tongue was still out in the cold air and not in her warm mouth.
"Whath-?! Ow!" She made the mistake of trying to yank the sword away and was rewarded with a nice painful numbing sensation as she nearly ripped her tongue from her mouth instead of from the sword, "Whath thith you tho?!" Her eyes glared daggers at Moonlight over the edge of the sword as she continually tried to make it let go of her tongue.
It was bad enough having gotten her tongue somehow adhered to her sword, it was worse that Moonlight was there to see it, and it was made the worst when Nek realized that it meant Moonlight had been right. And now it was going to be worse than worst because Moonlight was going to probably die laughing because of it before telling Nek how to get it off.

Moonlight watched Nek closely, wonder if she would actually do it. As soon as Nek first try to pull away and talk, was when Moonlight burst into laugher. She was laughing so hard she had to sit down, or she would have fallen. She also barely heard what Nek had to say, it also didn't help that her tongue was stuck too. Finally after a few moment Moonlight started to calm down. Wiping a tear from her eye she started to tell how to get the tongue off. "Hahaha! Ok, Ok, hehe since we don't haha have any haa warm water ...." She let out a deep breath still trying to calm herself down. "Just breathe heavily on your tongue." She was still having trouble believe that Nek didn't know that would happen. Did she never try it as a kid, or get dared to do it, Moonlight wondered. For now she just sat and watched her friend.

(I can't have her actually get it off here because I rped her with it still stuck in the thread XD ) Nek could only fume and sit in silence until Moonlight was finished with her little laughing fit. Having lived in caves for most of her life with only Kuit and her mentor to interact with there weren't many kids to dare her to do it. If Kuit had ever made the mistake of sticking her togue to her sword in the cold she had made it after she and Nek left the caves.
As soon as Moonlight told her what to do she began to breave heavily onto her tongue, taking a few seconds to think about who she was listening to and stop. She glared up at Moonlight suspiciously for a moment, "How tho I k'ow thith wonth make ith worthe?" (How do I know this wont make it worse?) It didn't help that she wasn't aware of her water nymph-ness making the freezing of her tongue more binding than a normal person's would be.

((So are we going have to end the RP with it still stuck? XD)) Moonlight rised an eyebrow at being questioned. "I could always leave if you don't want my help. And a good guess is that you would have no idea about what to do, since you didn't know that your tongue will get stuck on cold metal in the first place," she said calmly. She even stood up and walked out from under the tree. Before she went any farther she stop and looked over her shoulder at Nek. "But since I'm nice, I'll go find some warm water. It is the best and quickest way to free your tongue." With that she started to leave to start the search.

(Yes XD If you want we can start another after this that happens right after she finally frees it, when she is still talking funny XD ) Nek simply glared at Moonlight's retreating form, debating in her head whether or not to leave and make Moonlight either leave her alone or have to hunt her down when she returned. But then she looked down at her frozen tongue again and narrowed her eyes in annoyance. Moonlight may not always start things out well for Nek, but she knew she could trust the other Namir with her life and trust her not to make things worse when she'd already made them bad.
At least, that's what Nek hoped. It wasn't like she could do anything else at the moment, so she rearranged herself on the ground until she was sitting with her arms crossed over her lap and her sword resting on her knees in front of her face. She was still simmering angrily, but at least now she thought she was ready for whatever Moonlight was going to try to do to her next.
