Because New Years is swiftly approaching, perhaps now is the right time to take a moment and reflect on our dreams and goals for the upcoming year of 2010. 2009 was difficult for all of us in different ways, so it is my hope that 2010 will open new doors to prosperity, health, and happiness.
Kindly discuss: → New Years’ Resolutions → Guild-related goals → Techniques of sticking to goals → Fulfilled resolutions from past years → Related topics of conversation

Well it's been 2 years since I made the resolution to quit drinking so much soda. And that was accomplished. biggrin I only drink it rarely.
This year I'd like to lose weight, um... and probably try to stop being so addicted to horrible foods like store-bought cookies, chips, and things that just have a lot of MSG and transfats in them.
x_x I also need to cut down on my pizza intake.
It's hard to quit those foods though, they're so addictive. biggrin But making myself feel like I'm going to vomit if I have anything with shortening/msg in it seems to work.

I'm with Naz.
Just stick with moderation, Cass. A little junk food isn't going to hurt you.
I just wanna get toned up, don't care to lose much weight. I like being curvy.
I.....can't think of anything to do this coming year. School, maybe, but....eh.
I guess I need to think on it. I hardly ever do what my resolutions are anyway. sweatdrop

Yeah, just cutting down portion sizes and making sure to keep leftovers when you're done eating is a good idea.
Usually, I don't make New Year's Revolutions. I made End-of-the-Year To-do Lists. But, this year, I don't feel like I have any loose ends or anything. I don't really regret anything so far and I don't feel like I need to patch up things with anyone. So yeah!
My New Year's Revolution is to start losing weight again so I can get this dress I want for Senior Prom.
Also, I'm going to make Darrell eat and like vegetables and fruit if it goes as far as bringing them into sexual activities. stare

razz Well I meant moderate. D: I have a bad habit of eating a whole cardboard pizza in one setting. ^_^ But I bought wheat/honey pizza crusts and I can break them into 4ths and make individual servings and stuff.
Mmm, speaking of that, I had a barbeque honey chicken pizza thing last night. Guuud.......
... um... what? Vegetables? D:

My personal goals are kind of vague for this year, mostly just keeping up with what I have already.
• Pay mortgage and lot rent on time every month. Attempt to do the same with utility bills. • Purchase kitchen table and cheapy laptop computer. • Defeat Legend of Zelda: OoT and MM mostly by myself. • Be trained and promoted to a Front End Supervisor.
My guild goals are fairly upfront as well.
• Complete all necessary sticky threads and back-end operations and open to the public. • Successfully run an event (either OOC or character-oriented.) • Attract the interest of at least three new members. • Get the guild's post count to 50,000 by the end of the year.
That's all I can think of, really. I have small side projects I want to complete, but otherwise.. *Shrug*
