Daveigh: -Slowly trudges his way to, well who really knows where the heck he is going since he is just wandering around the island-
Kurai: *Slinking about, his eyes darting about in a paranoid manner. Comes to a stop at the sound of movement, ears pin back as he lets out a low growl, searching for any sign of Lucas hiding in the bushes*
Daveigh: -Comes to a sudden halt as the sound of someone or something growling. Tenses a bit, his fists nervously clenching- Who the hell is out there!?
Kurai: *Growling stops when he realizes that it's not Lucas out there. Snorts* I am
Daveigh: -Rolls his eyes- Well no kidding smart a**. Want to be a little more specific about that?
Kurai: *Starts walking in the direction of Daveigh's voice* Depends, does it really matter?
Daveigh: Well I wouldn't be wasting my time talking to you or asking if it didn't matter, now would I?
Kurai: *Comes to a stop when he catches sight of Daveigh through the trees. Walks along so he can get a better look at Daveigh while trying to use the trees as shields. Once he's satisfied that Lucas really isn't around, he grunts* Kurai
Daveigh: -Stuffs his hands in his pockets and scans the area for any sign of Kurai- Now that wasn't so hard, was it?
Kurai: *Takes a seat behind a tree and rolls his eyes* Now it's your turn to give your name
Daveigh: Huh? Really? I don't remember you ever asking for it.
Kurai: *Snorts a little in amusement* Fine, don't give it. You can have my name, and I get to see your appearance
Daveigh: I find that a fair trade since you won't show yourself like some kind fo coward.
Kurai: *Growls in annoyance* I have my reasons
Daveigh: Oh, reasons besides being a coward?
Kurai: *Growl grows louder* I'm not a coward!
Daveigh: Then why don't you show yourself?
Kurai: Why don't you give your name?
Daveigh: I think you should answer me first.
Kurai: *Flicks an ear and once again growls in irritation* Because if you work for my crazy ex, I don't want to you know where I'm going when I decide to leave. I'd rather not have him trying to finish me off in my sleep
Daveigh: Hey, I have my own love problems to deal with. I don't have time to play spy for some ******** up ex of someone's, and like I would ever do such a messed up thing in the first place.
Kurai: And how am I supposed to know that, I don't know you! *Grumbles* b*****d already tried to off me, then started stalking me, wouldn't put it past him to have me tailed... *Peeks around the edge of the tree to peer at Daveigh and try to gauge if he's telling the truth or not*
Daveigh: And I don't know you, so why the hell would I waste my time stalking you.
Kurai: For the same reason the whole rest of the Namrah he lives with want to *Decides that Daveigh doesn't really seem like the kind of Namir Lucas' human usually has around* Whose your human?
Daveigh: -Scuffs- More like a tormentor, but whatever. Ririka is "my human".
Kurai: ... *Grunts and slowly slinks out of hiding*
Daveigh: Well look who is finally out of hiding.
Kurai: *Glowers* Only because I know your human
Daveigh: Why am I not surprised there.
Kurai: Because you're either not a moron or think you're psychic, pick one *Circles Daveigh, sizing him up*
Daveigh: -Gets an amused smirk as he watches Kurai- What? Am I not allowed to have the satisfaction of both?
Kurai: No. Psychics are morons with super powers. They just don't think they're morons because they can get into people's head and think they know all. Or the bumble around, always worried about accidentally prying into people's heads and always making mistakes
Daveigh: Says the one who is running around paranoid, tails between his leg and always on edge.
Kurai: *Growls* My tail is not between my legs and has never been! I simply have no desire to come in contact with someone who claims to still love me after he sank his teeth into my neck and tried to kill me
Daveigh: At least he is not abducting you, breaking your legs and hiding you away somewhere.
Kurai: Misery, good movie *Plops down by a tree keeping distance between himself and Daveigh* And he probably would if he could
Daveigh: -Shrugs- How long has it been since you last saw the guy?
Kurai: Few weeks or so *Shrugs* Been sticking close to home since someone told me his cronies were out to get me too
Daveigh: You might as well just go out and get a restraining order.
Kurai: Does this island even have a justice system?
Daveigh: If you can call the people who work here justice..or Ri a keeper of justice.
Kurai: If that's the justice, then this system must be corrupt
Daveigh: Hey, everything is pretty peaceful. You never know.
Kurai: *Grunts* What about you? You got yourself a stalker ex?
Daveigh: -Shakes his head- Can't say I do. Apparently I have one who didn't love me like I thought he did since apparently he might be with someone new already.
Kurai: Really? Would you like to trade ex's?
Kevin: -Eyes widen- Engaged!? When did that happen?
Daveigh: As much as I love the thought of someone loving me, I don't think I want it to go that far.
Kurai: *Snorts* He doesn't love me, he's just obsessed with me
Daveigh: Take it as a creepy compliment then.
Kurai: *Grunts* So, what destroyed your relationship?
Daveigh: Things were alright...until he seemed to just stop caring and changed.
Kurai: Maybe he was just trying to get you in bed?
Daveigh: Well he sure didn't get what he wanted then cause nothing like that ever happened.
Kurai: Then maybe that's why he lost interest
Daveigh: -Ears fall as he thinks about it- I...guess that could be true..
Kurai: *Raises a brow at Daveigh's ears fall* Still hung up on the guy?
Daveigh: Not really. At least not anymore. I just want to know what the hell happened.
Kurai: If you don't know then you'll probably never find out *Yawns* And you'll beat yourself up over something that's dead
Daveigh: -Shrugs- It's just a thought that will eventually pass.
Kurai: Still a waste of time
Daveigh: Well it's my time and I will waste it however I damn well please.
Kurai: Of course you will
Daveigh: Then what do you suggest I do then, huh?
Kurai: You get over it and move on. Guy doesn't sound like anybody worth getting worked up over
Daveigh: I guess, though easier said than done.
Kurai: You humans always over complicate everything
