I know nothing about Linux except what I've learned from dealing with it's users.
I have met one Linux user who was even remotely reasonable. All the rest of them seem to think all computer problems rise from being an idiot. Either an idiot who didn't build their own computer, or an idiot that built their own computer wrong.
It doesn't seem like any other platform turns gets quite so many rude and loud and obsessive people attached to it.
Don't get me wrong, I love my mac. I loved my two macs before it. They still run beautifully, but my files have gotten bigger and my video editing more intense. I animate. I need power and creative flexibility. So I've got a mac. I want to keep using macs for all foreseeable future. Preferably this one. I can't afford to replace it. I'm glad I won't need to.

But that doesn't mean all other systems and their users suck. Other platforms have good points. I understand that PCs run some really good games. They certainly get all of them first. *angry face* ASPYR! RELEASE FREETIME ALREADY! scream I'm sure I've met a linux user who isn't a pretentious b*****d, but since they weren't dancing around singing, "All computers have problems except for linux! Linux will solve all of your problems! Linux raised Lazerous from the grave!" I didn't know they used Linux.

I am only saying these things about Linux users, not Linux. I know nothing about Linux. I never will because I will never use it because I am enough of an a*****e already.

I'm not saying that they should act like their system has flaws it doesn't have.
I'm saying the correct reaction to a friend saying, "Oh god, my life's work!" isn't "Well that's what you get for not using Linux."

I'm not really mad at all Linux users right now. Just one in particular.
