I have had any luck in finding new copies of these games and I don't like getting used Pokemon games cause people like to hack them or sell illegal copies so it's SO not the worth it. I tried all the major retail stores and ebay but mostly they are all used. My friend linked to to amazon but they sell both of them for 255 DOLLARS!
So even if I did get a dual slot DS it seems like I will have a major problem finding Fire Red or Leaf Green.
FR/LG you will have to buy used, same with R/S/E and any other GBA game,
i know the story but gamestop sells them for fair prices, and mind my words only if they have them in stock, and they cant order them sicne they're not being produced any more
but FR/LG are worth getting, and as for why, well....
they are worth getting because of dress-up accessories, one will score a crwon while the other fetches a tiara
R/S/E fetch backdrops,
Sapphire is underwater
Ruby is Underground(and my fave)
and Emerald is a backdrop called "sky"
in adition they may cause non-swarm, yet rare pokemon to appear
ie: Enter emerlad and go between Jubilife and Orebough and search around, you'll lfind Pineco, and at like lv5, so i double checked my stuff and he's findbale, yes, but only with duo-slot-emerald and national dex
i think LG score wild staryus and FR scores wild shelder, and that would be prime examples of reason why to buy them, even if used
i love starmie, as for cloyster, well, after it's defeat to tail-whip psyduck, i lost my faith but still it's a likeable
